Maps and Following People

Is there any particular reason the map isn't shown when following someone, even with MapShow turned on? I find it very frustrating that the simple act of following someone essentially blinds me to where I am in the world unless I spam LOOK constantly.

    Are you using the in-game map or the map in the Nexus/HTML5 client in the upper-left?

    I did IDEA it about a month ago. I'm asking here to see if there was any reason for it.

    Probably an oversight that has gone unnoticed. I made a trigger to ql everytime the You follow message comes up
