Bard vs. Alchemist?
I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me about the pros and cons of Bard vs. Alchemist (or Alchemist vs. Bard). They are two of my favorite classes, thus far, but I've been looking at them semi-seriously. Currently an Occultist, and I might stay with it too.. we'll see.

Depends on your focus. Hunting? Alchemist, no question. 1v1 combat? Alchemist. Group combat? Bard probably takes this one, but I'm not sure after the formulation changes. Ratting? Bard, all the way. RP reasons? Up to you.

Bard is better for hunting, easily. Alchemist, Occultist, and Bard are all good for 1v1. Alchemist and Occultist are much, much easier to play but, as a result, also have less options. Occultist is the best of the three at group combat, imo, though Bard is good as well. Alchemist has a few useful abilities, but isn't as great.5
