The Saga of Bal'met

    1. It won a bardic! So if you want to read it out of game it can be found on the website in the bardic archives here: http://www.achaea.com/bardic/the-saga-of-balmet

    2. All bardic entries that win are put in books in the Lucretian Athenaeum, the central library in New Thera. So, if you want to read it in game (in a neutral location), go take a look there. See below:

    The Hall of Histories (indoors).

    @Saralynne, @Sarapis and others:

    The story (and every other Achaean story I've ever written) is at the below link!

    Errr sorry that's the topic, the link is here.

    I decided to condense it all into a single location instead of random pastebins.

    However, @Halos is right in that it is in the Lucretian Athenaeum, though I'm not sure if every Bardic winner is automatically placed there - I did submit it there of my own accord some time ago. There is also a copy in Mhaldor as @Herose said - @Phaestus made me!

    To all of you discovering this for the first time, I hope you enjoy it - and for those rereading it again, welcome back. Most credit must of course be given to the Achaean staff for conceptualising the event and creating it + writing awesome event posts to begin with - I only put my own spin in the retelling!
    If you like my stories, you can find them here:

    Probably one of the best stories i've read in my 12years of playing IRE. And i've read a shitload. You are doing yourself a disservice if you are not already a professional writer @Jurixe‌ ;

    @Jurixe Do you still have that? I wouldn't mind sticking it on the official wiki, for instance.

    Wish I could have read it.  I've been fascinated by the oral stories.  Apparently, the pastebin was overwritten and your story isn't there anymore. I'm sure it was fantastic.  Did you ever put it all in a book to read?  I don't know if Cyrenians are banned from Mhaldor, since Mhaldorians are banned from Cyrene, but I would totally brave the red fog to go read this, if it is in Mhaldor's library somewhere. :smiley:
    I have a log I took when I was allowed into the Mhaldorian Library. I'll see if I can get it up on pastebin for you guys tonight.
