I'm easily persuaded.

@Jhaeli's awesome thread in this section prompted me to look at other development-centered questions, and I found a slew of really interesting (at least, in my opinion!) ones that I thought would be fun to apply to our characters in Achaea.

I mentioned responding to these in character - but, if you don't much feel like it, you can always respond to them OOC but with your character's opinions...if that makes sense.
Do you, or did you, have any role models?

@Iocun.

How do you generally treat others?

I try to be benevolent, but I still don't understand what this means. Honestly, I treat most people coldly, ehe... it's no wonder I don't have many friends!

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Helping create Lifeless Sun. Someday, when I defeat Iocun, it'll become that instead.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Impossible to achieve, even by divine hands... though perhaps m'Lady comes closest.

What is your dream occupation?

Being m'Lady's blade.

What is your most treasured possession?

My own blade, Lifeless Sun.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?

Centre Crossing, 'cause it has benches.

When and where were you the happiest?

In the heat of battle.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Apparently green hair is rare or something. Probably that.

What is it that you most dislike?

Adventurers. Most of them are mass murdering scum, and don't even recognize the fact.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?

During the Bal'met war, I feared for m'Lady's life, but moreso, I was afraid of being unable to do anything about it... it turned out both fears were wrong in the end, as most are.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Ice cream... 'til Cyrene stopped selling it. Later, scarfs, though they don't sell many of those either.

Who do you most despise?

Didn't you ask this already?

What is your greatest regret?

It's not that I regret waiting so long to tell Iocun... I just regret standing near him so silently before doing so.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Being m'Lady's blade, versed in sharpness of all sorts - of wit, combat, tongue, and more.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

That I am weak.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

That they crush others to shed their own weakness.

What do you most value in your friends?

I don't care if they fight well, but I don't think I could become someone's friend without facing them in battle on a regular basis.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

A virtue that can be overrated is merely just a lie under another name.

On what occasions do you lie?

Never - especially not now.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

I used to have a nervous laugh that I did a lot. Does that count?

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Only one thing? I would allow myself to change infinitely more thereafter, so that I can follow my heart's whim and m'Lady's word.

How would you like to die?

This is a silly question, and you're a silly person for asking it.

Describe a typical dream you might have / your worst nightmares.

I don't sleep.
I tried to word it how she would, but it's also been a few months since I've played her, so oh well!

Tillie's responses:
Character questionnaire:

Do you, or did you, have any role models?
Aside from Lord Scarlatti, I've always admired the talents of a few from afar: both of my dance mentors, @Phelia and @Serendi. @Shirszae is a fantastic musician. @Herenicus - though I've never met the guy in person - is ridiculously amusing and eloquent. -shrug- I appreciate those who are obviously passionate about their craft.

How do you generally treat others?
Ah, with a moderate amount of kindness and manners. When it's deemed necessary. I'm not much of a lady, but I was taught to say my 'misses' and 'sirs' and whatnot.

Unless they're assholes. That's a different story.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Father kissed me on my forehead, once. He also personally asked me to continue pursuing art in His realm. It has been the central most motivating factor in my life, as a dancer.

The personal message. The kiss was nice - but I'm not a drooling twit (my face was red though).

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A frothy, frosted pint of darkbrew and a soft, cushy chair.

What is your dream occupation?
Beer taster
Eh? I'm a starving artist. And I'm perfectly content with that. Politics and the like aren't for me.

What is your most treasured possession?
Well. It was once "Lost Salvation" - my blade. Still is. Lingers on as a tattoo on my arm, but the blade itself has expired.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?
Inbhir Ness. Childhood.

When and where were you the happiest?
When I have beer Albiet cheesy, but - when I'm rehearsing, alone, on stage. Of course, the exhilaration of performing in front of an audience is great and blad-dee-dah... but practicing is invigorating, to me.

What is your most marked characteristic?
Uh. I'm not very striking. I s'pose my hair - coppery red. Though..I've met a few redheads in my day.

What is it that you most dislike?
Unjustified derision. Stuffy-ness. People with their noses stuck in their asses. Is that the saying? Eh, you know what I mean.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?
Disappointing my House, and my dearest friends.

What is your greatest extravagance?
I'm a "starving artist", remember? Possibly my only jewelry, I s'pose: an earring for Lord Scarlatti, and earring for Lord Phaestus.

Who do you most despise?
Despising one particular person is too tiring. No one annoys me that much. At least at the moment.

What is your greatest regret?
...Mm. Reconciliation. I will leave it there.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I've very jealous of the musicians in my House, and my music-inclined friends. I've a trusty mandolin - but I'm not too great with it, aside from using it for combat.

And speaking of which, I'd definitely like to be a better combatant.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
....I may have a bit of a drinking problem.

Though I wouldn't say "deplore".....

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Over-confidence. Ignorance.

What do you most value in your friends?
A good sense of humor (and being okay with being punched repeatedly by me, cough @Kaden, cough).

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
I'm not familiar enough with 'virtues' to pick, I think....

Maybe justice? It's all too politic-y.

On what occasions do you lie?
I try my best not to; though, I s'pose I lie when I simply don't feel like letting others pry into my feelings, or business. Sometimes it's just easier to act as if things are all right.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
"Lass." "Miss." "Sir." "S'pose." I don't know. I don't talk too eloquently.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Be less short. My neck hurts from looking up at people.

How would you like to die?
Who the hell doesn't want to die happy? Let me die blearily intoxicated, curled on the rug like some fat, contented cat, in front of a fire.

Describe a typical dream you might have.
Oh, you know. The ones where everything you may ever want to accomplish unfolds before you...and yet it is always out of your grasp. Tend to have those ones more than anything else.

Describe your worst nightmares.
Anything involving flight. Wings ...hovering....Atavians....-shudder-

..I've a bit of acrophobia. Not entirely sure what prompted it.

Character questionnaire:

Do you, or did you, have any role models?
That is a very interesting question, although I am not sure I have any. Unless you include spirits as a possible variation of role model.

How do you generally treat others?
I'm actually not sure, you would have to ask them.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My understanding of the spirits and their role in creation.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
There is no such thing, it's an ever elusive thing which will change whenever you achieve what you think it is. Without purpose you are useless to creation, so within something perfect you would be useless and therefore dead.

What is your dream occupation?
Scholar

What is your most treasured possession?
My soul

Where do you travel to most often, and why?
Meropis, the silence is a welcome change and it has many things to explore and learn about.

When and where were you the happiest?
Happiness is fleeting, there is no reason to dwell on it as it will always meet you again.

What is your most marked characteristic?
I'm not sure, all of my characteristics are too mundane for me to notice.

What is it that you most dislike?
Oblivion

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?
Oblivion, I suppose...

What is your greatest extravagance?
Extravagance is a mundane need, I am above such things.

Who do you most despise?
Despise is an ugly word, I don't truly despise anyone. All things within creation have their purpose and to despise someone is simply to disagree with that purpose. I understand the need of everyone to have a purpose that is different from mine and as such, I do not truly despise anyone.

What is your greatest regret?
Allowing certain spirits to control me instead of controlling them.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I'm not sure I need any talents.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
I cannot deplore that which is necessary within creation.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Again, I cannot deplore that which is necessary within creation.

What do you most value in your friends?
Knowledge

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Charity

On what occasions do you lie?
There is no need to lie, I suppose when I have been told a lie, that I believe, I am inclined to spread it. In which case I am lying.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Interesting...

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I suppose I could use a new husk, I am always uncomfortable as a Tsol'aa again.

How would you like to die?
I have already died, several times. Sometimes several times in the same day.

Describe a typical dream you might have.
Unfortunately dreams don't come to me much anymore.

Describe your worst nightmares.
Without dreams, there are no nightmares.

Do you, or did you, have any role models?

A few. They've gone now, for the most part, but I still hold some high above.

How do you generally treat others?

As they deserve.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

It's very minor, but important - realizing my place in the North and finally not lying to myself.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

There is no such thing, but great happiness is simply sharing a drink and words with one of wit.

What is your dream occupation?

Don't have a clue, honestly.

What is your most treasured possession?

Gave it away.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?

The desert. It brings a certain insight, and the heat is amazing.

When and where were you the happiest?

In a distant memory of a wedding.

What is your most marked characteristic?

My tattoos, I suppose, or maybe my glasses. Or how I'm according to most, a "cold hearted bitch".

What is it that you most dislike?

Idiocy.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?

Myself.

What is your greatest extravagance?

I suppose, my taste for clothing.

Who do you most despise?

It's a contest. I'll figure it out when I manage to kill them all at least twice.

What is your greatest regret?

Lying to myself for so long, I guess.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Believe it or not, I'd love a talent for storytelling and music. It's something that eludes me, though.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Hesitance.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Being blind.

What do you most value in your friends?

Thought.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Honor.

On what occasions do you lie?

Would anyone actually answer this honestly?

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

'Curiosity burns'.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I'd like to sheer away my own personal hesitation.

How would you like to die?

With a grin on my face.

Describe a typical dream you might have.

I refuse to answer.

Describe your worst nightmares.

Again, I refuse.
Nell's mind, sadly, doesn't respond to direct questions well. It was still pretty fun to do though.

This seems pretty fun, but Jurixe would never answer a questionnaire like this and/or you'd never get the true answer out of her, so it's a fairly moot point, unfortunately.

Character questionnaire:
Do you, or did you, have any role models?

When I was young, my father was everything to me. Although I seldom saw him, the days when he would swoop into my life were always thrilling and full of his roguish wisdom.

As a young Spirit Walker, I was blessed by the presence and encouraging wisdom of many former Prophetesses and Prophets. The voices of Viera Sigrune, Rir Sirsuma, and others such as Pantalaimon, Mindshell, and Firefox Sly informed my walk between worlds within that Tribe.

The voices of real wisdom in my life today reverberate from beyond the veil extant of this world. The spirits of the ancestors gently whisper into the heart of my being. The Dream enlightens and reveals new things to me each day.

How do you generally treat others?

Shamanism is not a profession or religion, but a spiritual path based on community service. Contrary to what is often taught and believed today, shamans are not in the business of destruction but rather healing. It is therefore inherently a social practice. Interactions in the mundane as well as the worlds beyond must attempt to adhere to a code of Code of Honour, Loyalty, Strength, Courage, and Respect at all times.

Shaman are conceptually outsiders though. More often than not, they are brought into a village or household to provide services. Even as a resident of a city, they are often viewed as outliers because of their mysterious abilities and the altruistic way in which they embrace their role within the city.

This is all to say, I treat others compassionately, as all life deserves to be treated, until it shows itself to be unworthy of such concern.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Both shamanistic healing and dreaming require one to be a conscious witness observing what is being experienced without being swept up into our reactions to that experience. It is a state of clear awareness without thinking about what is happening or even thinking about not thinking about it.

Witnessing in this way is a seemingly simple yet profoundly difficult task.

I am grateful to have learned to neither reject anything as unworthy of attention nor welcome anything as worthy of more attention than anything else in those moments when via meditation or spirit flight I am drawn beyond to observe and bear witness. It has made me both a better healer and friend.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

From the moment life exists, we feel an inner emptiness that pushes us to find physical nourishment. This hunger connects us. Even when our mortal forms achieve Logosian and beyond, this interconnectedness does not fade because it is a physical symptom of a spiritual plight.

Every event is the effect of a happening or pattern in the world unseen. All life forms across all planes, realms and worlds are interconnected and interdependent. If one spirit suffers, all others are affected.

There is no such thing as perfection or perfect happiness. There is only the hope of balance.

What is your dream occupation?

Queen of Hashan.

No, no. I jest, child. That statement is more a thing of humour and rumour than anything I myself dream of coming to fruition.

I am already serving in my dream occupation. I am a shamaness healer, who understands the myriad of ways in which spiritual influences must be arranged, adjusted or proportioned in order for each spirit's place within the Multiverse to become perfectly poised like the stars in the night sky and the intricate constellations they form.

What more could one ask to become?

What is your most treasured possession?

Bluef displays a a wytches ladder bracelet for all in the room to see.

An intricately knotted length of grey hemp encircling the wrist, this wytches ladder bracelet is adorned with delicate ceremonial talismans. Among these a single feather, a seashell, a curved talon, and a multifaceted stone, are intended to be reminiscent of the spirit present in all things within the corporeal world. The other ritualistic items found within the gordian knotwork of the shamanistic rosary are specific to the owner, lending to their personal meditative bids.

This is a fetish worn by all Curia Spiritus from Weaver to Wyrd Rider. It is both a token of loyalty and a threat against disloyalty. This particular bracelet is a powerful charm that has remained with me for over 150 years.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?

Worlds beyond your ken, my dear.

When and where were you the happiest?

When I was much younger, understood much less, and was able to go about life in a carefree way that today I can only pretend to embrace.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Physically?

Shadowy tresses flow whimsically over Bluef's bare shoulders in gentle waves to her trim waist. Lifting the ebon bangs that sweep across her forehead, you see a faint Mark of the Twin still visible in the flesh just beneath her swan-shaped bindi.

Personality-wise?

Probably my ire. My outrage against injustice and disloyalty can be relentless because the consequences of such actions are, in turn, equally incessant.

What is it that you most dislike?

As the saying goes, "All the evils have been locked in a room and its key is lying." True accounts of who we are, what made us this way, and what gives our lives purposeful existence are too rare in this plane of the Multiverse.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?

Without reservation, my greatest fear is the loss of another under my care to the malevolence of a hungry spirit.

What is your greatest extravagance?

The Tharosian Estates. Initially purchased as a single plot in the Year 600 auction, I have spent considerable time working with contractors and builders to construct a new housing subdivision in Delos, where those who could not normally afford to dwell outside the intrusive reach of cities can do so. Five families and the Curia dwell there now; in time I hope to triple the breadth of new housing development.

It may seem odd for someone to concerned with the spirit realm to want to devote such time to mundane pursuits. This housing is a way for me to give back to our plane of existence though. Its cost will never be recompensed to me in housing sales; only in the joy these plots bring to others.

Who do you most despise?

Zalhisteth, the Traveller.

The Multiverse cannot stand a void. When something beautiful and true leaves our planes of existence for all time, something ugly and untrue often comes in to fill up that space.

Zalhisteth has taken his share of beautiful lives. His space in existence has only expanded in the years I have followed his progression and regression between worlds.

What is your greatest regret?

Loving someone who was incapable of loving me back with the same kindness and honesty and then marrying him, not once but twice. Some of the times we had together were fun, but they were short-lived and the consequences of loving him have been far too long-lasting.

Which talent would you most like to have?

Spirit retrieval.

As a shaman, I believe that illness is due to injury to the spirit. When we suffer emotional or physical trauma, our spirit flees the body in order to survive the experience. In some cases, spirit loss can be a good thing. it helps us survive. But there are times when this disassociation causes the spirit to flee beyond the borders of our own reality. The spirit may become lost or even be stolen or eaten by another entity.

Having experienced this myself, I know the perils of becoming lost upon another plane of existence, your spirit unbound from your corporeal form or years, even decades. Even familiar things become wholly unfamiliar and it is difficult, if not almost impossible, to find your way back.

If the spirit survives, it will wait until someone skilled in spirit retrieval intervenes and facilitates its safe return. Across the boundless plains, I once heard the Spirit Walekrs calling me back to Creation. But there are too few shamans practicising this long lost art in the Multiverse today and far too many spirits in need of retrieval. I myself find it the most difficult of all shamanic arts to perform, perhaps because of my prior personal experiences with it.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

My sensitivity to the unseen world sometimes makes it difficult for me to function in the mundane one because I do not have the capacity to shut off the perception that, "If one spirit suffers, all suffer." While I don't generally deplore this trait in myself or others, I do disapprove of the way I have sometimes allowed it to be used against me. Only through persistence and experience, have I begun to overcome this.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Rectitude. There is nothing as ugly as a person whose being is invigorated by the 'rightness' of a certain set of moral virtues or principles and who, as a result, sees fit to judge the beliefs, thoughts, and actions of others incessantly.

What do you most value in your friends?

Integrity. To me this trait goes beyond honesty, dependability, or soundness of moral or ethical character. It is the unceasing unity of these virtues so that someone does not think, act, or speak one way today and another tomorrow.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Self-enhancement. Essentially, the advancement of the self over others. Over the last century, Achaean society has become one which increasingly promotes self-progress over service to others, ultimately condoning narcissism and thwarting the virtue of humility that is so fundamental to the advancement of the mortal races as a whole.

On what occasions do you lie?

Too many people choose to be deliberately ambiguous and unclear in who they are today. I have no impetus to lie.

When a shaman lies to others, there is a real danger in beginning to lie to yourself as well. Self-deception is antithetical to our work. Therefore, regardless of how socially inappropriate it may be to be who I am, I would not jeopardize the spiritual clarity I have with prevarication toward myself or others.

That said, I believe the very best shamanic counseling and healing is done without the being or person ever realizing it has been done.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

I see.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

If I were without a voice, I believe my thoughts would take longer to compose and share with others and likely be comprised of far greater wisdom, insight and clarity.

How would you like to die?

The greatest honour for a shaman is giving their life in the service of others.

Describe a typical dream you might have.

In my world, Dreams are very real things. Though most Dreams begin within the mind, as some imagined, intangible thing, once Dreamt they take form and, in many cases, become as tangible as you or I. Perhaps this is why I so often Dream of spirits:

The Serpent constellation glitters in the night sky. Translucent beings hover around you, their sing-song voices chanting an ancient tale of a light fashioned within the dark void by the Creator before time was created.

Gazing up to the darkened firmament, you consider how each luminary plays an integral part in Creation, adding to beauty of the stellar mist swirling within the cauldron of the night's sky. Uttering an incantation to the stars, the ethereal forms suddenly veer away toward the heavens, leaving a shimmering trail of refracted light in their wake.

Falling from the sky colourful leaves whirl around you as you make your way down a forest path. Swirling ever-faster their colourful hues coalesce into the visage of a luminiscent spirit who beckons to you amid a flurry of sparkling motes which zip around her like shooting stars.

Describe your worst nightmares.

A Dream of my son, Montago, whose spirit our realm lost over 150 years ago:

An immense sequoia, once tall and proud, lies on its side here, its gnarled roots encrusted in crimson.

You sigh heavily, skirting the withered branches of the great, fallen tree. Your hands clasped in a gesture of prayer, you linger near the fallen tree uttering quiet prayers to the ancestors.
• Do you, or did you, have any role models?

Early in life, the warriors Ellodin and Sothantos were the individuals I looked up to the most, particularly in the field of battle. Nowadays, there is no question that Lady Aldair is the role model I attempt to emulate the most.

How do you generally treat others?

I try to be kind and understanding, within the limits of reason, although this tendency never takes precedence over the need for honesty. It is kinder to be honest, in the long run, than pampering.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Admission into the Aarash Kheyr. Service to the Light is the highest calling an individual can aspire to in this age.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

The moment of Serenity that arises from the knowledge that there is no further threat to Creation or its children.

What is your dream occupation?

Truthsayer, in the pre-modern tradition. (In the same way, in fact, that Distuya is a Truthsayer)

What is your most treasured possession?

The Glass Pendulum that is the symbol of my membership in the Aarash Kheyr.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?

The Lightbringer's shrines, on business. On pleasure, to Arcadia, to study the language of the Atavians.

When and where were you the happiest?

In the days when I was a Templar, and an aspirant to the Elysian Order, and my wife awoke, still, in the realms.

What is your most marked characteristic?

Physically, perhaps, the colour of my eyes. In terms of personality, the idiom 'Hoo, boy,' or my tendency to speak verbosely, when perhaps a simpler phrase will do.

What is it that you most dislike?

Those who manipulate persons they perceive as weak, or helpless, for the victim's detriment, physically, emotionally, or intellectually.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?

That I will find that, at the end of my life, I have caused more harm to the cause than benefit, and that those I care for will inherit a state of Creation that is indefensible before the forces that seek to harm it.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Taking time to compose music on the violin beneath the trees by the Courtyard of Dawn instead of attending to immediate duties, from time to time.

Who do you most despise?

I have never met a person I have known well enough to truly despise. That is not to say I have not encountered situations in which a person was despicable- turn coats, those who oppress others who cannot stand up to them.

What is your greatest regret?

I was unable to keep Sothantos from being taken from Shallam when the Babelites came from him, and we were unable to rescue him from the Caverns of Enheduanna when he was being tortured.

Which talent would you most like to have?

The ability to put others at ease when they are frightened, or stressed out.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Mercilessness when it comes to traitors to the cause.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Self-deception.

What do you most value in your friends?

Devotion to Truth.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Of the Classical Seven, Temperance. The universal and unthinking application of Temperance is not readily distinguishable from Apathy, and Apathy is death.

On what occasions do you lie?

I strive never to lie. I am dishonest at times by omission, or offering partial-Truths, when the situation is delicate enough that it might jeopardize Good, but never in personal affairs.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

'Hoo, boy.' And, perhaps, 'Go away,' when dealing with those I'd really rather not have to deal with.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

How merciless I can be in defence of Good (to make myself less brutal in my views regarding those who falter on the path).

How would you like to die?

In my sleep.

Describe a typical dream you might have.

I do not ordinarily remember my dreams, but the most recent was the view of the ships coming into the Targossian harbour, at Sunset, and the vista was accompanied with a deep sense of calm, and a subdued kind of joy.

Describe your worst nightmares.

Once more, I do not dream, but I have relived particularly difficult engagements in my memory while asleep- none are pleasant.

Do you, or did you, have any role models?

@Tarkor and @Shiro were my heroes as a young Warden. After I discovered my passion for designs, other designers were my role models.

How do you generally treat others?

The way I’d want to be treated, unless my first impression is that you’re a jerk.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Attaining Knighthood as a Scholar, and likely the last Scholar or becoming a Senator, though being a Senator was insane due to Bal’met and losing Lady Selene.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Unending inspiration for designs, novices that like to learn, no drama aside from performances for the Virtuosi!

What is your dream occupation?

I have it already! Head of Newcomers for a House of Arts and Crafting!

What is your most treasured possession?

Hmm… either my pendant from Lady Selene or the selily from Her priestess.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?

Um… probably my fishing spot… to fish.

When and where were you the happiest?

At my wedding and at the drunken rampage afterwards!

What is your most marked characteristic?

Um… probably my black wings with blood red speckling or my rose-shaped brand.

What is it that you most dislike?

I dislike people whom are close-minded when it comes to the ideals of others. I’m open to ideals, while I may not agree with them, I won’t try to change their mind. Also, I dislike fighting, but sometimes it has to be done.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?

My greatest fear is losing everything I care about. I went through most of that feeling when Lady Selene died, so it’ll forever be a huge fear of mine.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Probably Sindori, my class changes, my Shield design or my Staff design.

Who do you most despise?

I don’t really despise anyone. There’s people that annoy me, but I can handle basically anyone.

What is your greatest regret?

Not working towards being in Lord @Phaestus’s Order when He was still awake and I had the chance.

Which talent would you most like to have?

More designing talent. Writer’s block is a pain and sometimes I look at all my designs and cringe because they seem so terrible.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

I don’t like how being around people can make me anxious, and I hate that I can’t fight for my home with better prowess, but I try.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Close-mindedness

What do you most value in your friends?

Open mind, humour, and a good shoulder.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

Respect. It’s earned, not a sword and shield.

On what occasions do you lie?

When questions about if I’m happy come up because sometimes I’m really not but would rather not say.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Take a long walk off a short pier.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

More self-confidence

How would you like to die?

In glory! No, just happy beside those I care about most.

Describe a typical dream you might have.

Designing, or being with Lady Selene again.

Describe your worst nightmares.

Um… Probably Bal’met returning.

Of course, from the perspective of my character IC.

Do you, or did you, have any role models?
I have had several over the course of my life, but most were merely because I was young and easily impressed. My only role model now would be my friend and on-going mentor Seragorn, for his years have brought him a wealth of knowledge and wisdom, and I am still constantly learning from him.

How do you generally treat others?
This is a bit situational. I am generally very shy and quiet around people I do not know, and typically take a while to let people get to know me. I prefer to be polite, but sometimes I will be more openly friendly, and other times I might come off a bit cold.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
It is still somewhat of a continuing goal. I am glad to have reached dragon, and still continue to seek improving my rank, though that has slowed down in more recent years.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
I do not believe perfect happiness exists, but I think I am in a good place now. I am surrounded by great friends, a loyal family, an amazing Order, and I really couldn't ask for more. Things are good.

What is your dream occupation?
I would love to be shopkeeper of my own shop someday! It is a goal I am currently working toward.

What is your most treasured possession?
A lovely doll that Lady Pandora made and gave to me as a gift.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?
Outside of Ashtan and my hunting spots... no where in particular lately, although I do enjoy visiting Lady Pandora's temple and Lady Selene's temple.

When and where were you the happiest?
I've had different periods of happiness in my life for different reasons, but I think I am happiest now. I've cut out all of the bad things, and I am surrounded by amazing people, and great things are happening.

What is your most marked characteristic?
I would say most likely my hands, which are wreathed in flickering spirit.

What is it that you most dislike?
City politics and drama. Going rogue was one of the best decisions of my life, and I am constantly reminded of such when I hear about the non-sense going on in the cities from my friends and relatives.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?
Disappointing certain people I care about the most, especially Lady Pandora.

What is your greatest extravagance?
Probably the chandelier I bought in an estate auction from Petra that I spent 2.5 million gold on.

Who do you most despise?
I dislike a number of people for various reasons, but if I had to pin my hate on any particular individual it would be Bal'met, even if He is now gone, for what He did to change the course of the realms, and for those Divine we lost because of Him.

What is your greatest regret?
I have several things I regret equally, and would rather not go into it.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I wish I had the desire to learn combat, and I wish I was good at it. As it is, I have a hard time finding the motivation to learn, and do not care to.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
A jealous streak I've gained over the years.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
When you know someone doesn't like you, yet they try to veil that in your presence. If I truly dislike someone I make effort to avoid being around them, and they are usually quite aware that I have some level of distaste for them.

What do you most value in your friends?
Loyalty and understanding.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
Perhaps kindness. Though I think it is important to be kind in most situations, I also take a tough love stance with people as I am not a big fan of whining or excuses. I'd rather express my actual opinion, rather than sugarcoat things just to spare someone's feelings.

On what occasions do you lie?
This is one of those situational things, as I am sure it is for most people, that is often for the sake of self-preservation or to withold information from others it cannot be trusted with.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
I use the word "actually" a lot. It is a habit I have had ever since I was a child.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I am working on that now. For most of my life I had tried too hard to be what I thought others wanted me to be. Now I am trying to accept who and what I am, and it has led to a much happier place in my life.

How would you like to die?
In service to my Lady, or surrounded by those I care about the most.

Describe a typical dream you might have.
It has been decades since I last slept, so I am afraid I do not recall.

Describe your worst nightmares.
Same as the previous question, I do not sleep anymore so I do not have an answer.
What doesn't kill you gives you exp.

Do you, or did you, have any role models?
@Harmonia‌ is my role-model; first and last mentor.

How do you generally treat others?
A lot better than I should, regarding heathens.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
None of those yet, though I'd likely not spout them anyway.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Becoming the Dread Ecclesiarch of Transvital Corruption, which I would gladly follow the path of Apostate again to become one day.

What is your dream occupation?
...Being the Dread Ecclesiarch of Transvital Corruption

What is your most treasured possession?
None of those.

Where do you travel to most often, and why?
North of New Thera, if I'm not in Mhaldor. Best place to find fights and other conflicts.

When and where were you the happiest?
Not sure yet, though acquiring Deacon of Malevolence finally was a nice achievement for me.

What is your most marked characteristic?
I suppose my missing eye.

What is it that you most dislike?
The Occultists.

What is your greatest fear (may be a little spoiler-y? You can omit, of course)?
No need for that.

What is your greatest extravagance?
Supplies for novices, but no regrets.

Who do you most despise?
No particular person, though @Jinsun‌ would probably take first rank there.

What is your greatest regret?
None thus far. Leaving Mhaldor did nothing but teach me the value of returning.

Which talent would you most like to have?
The ability to anathemise those who taint the art of Necromancy.

What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Indecision.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Those who misunderstand any and all paths to justify their own.

What do you most value in your friends?
Haven't been betrayed in Mhaldor.

What do you consider the most overrated virtue?

On what occasions do you lie?

Any time I speak to one of the Occultists, and a lot of the time that I speak to a heathen.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Not sure if I do, but I'd appreciate if someone pointed it out.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
My skill in combat needs work, if that's considered a change.

How would you like to die?
At the hands of those who seek revenge, after I've already destroyed much more.

Describe a typical dream you might have.
Being vanquished by the armies of the Good and Light, and vice-versa.

Describe your worst nightmares.
I wouldn't say that I have many nightmares... Just unpleasant dreams.
