    Half of my city is severely flooded, I'm talking cars are fully submerged at this point and two people actually got stuck in their vehicle and drowned (seriously messed up). So lo and behold, what do I see but someone post from high ground on our local news FB page about how she has three (3) inches of water in her kitchen, and don't understand why 911 won't send someone to come get her. So...I had to do it:

    Makes me think of the joke I told kids back in January when we were looking at gulls and they kept saying " what's a seagull doing here at the lake?"

    ugh, I 100% understand and generally agree with the wariness that many groups have with the police, but the blanket hatred that the institution seems to get makes no freaking sense. I mean, case in point right here.
