I am trying to connect to Zmud, through the normal local host character that I use in Zmud, and I keep getting this.

Zmud closed after, Vista did the whole "Zmud is not responding." closing/checking for solutions thing.
Help, please?

Sounds like your problem is not having MUSH.

zMud was not built for Vista, and Vista does not like the way zMud was programmed, so either a) run zmud as admin under the windows xp setting under options b)get cMud and learn the difference in coding c)get some other client
Windows 7 does not like zMud either just so you know

Seems that my Windows 7 loves zMud. Then again, I've been lucky with stuff that isn't supposed to work together properly.

You have to run zMUD as "Admin" (somewhere in right click land) to get it to work.

To clarify - in order to run it previously, I had to run Zmud as administrator.
Still running it as an admin, the error occurs when I try to connect to localhost.
I don't remember my zmud registration code, so I dunno how to reinstall it. :/

You can get a new registration from the Zuggsoft site.
Actually, you have to do that if you ever re-install it, because it resets after a week.
