Azuhi used to be a decent looking Troll, but given Rajamala's speed, changed her to Raja. I still dress her decently and will never harass strangers (except Noremak, who asked for it), but, yes, she's a catgirl, because I just like it this way, rather than making her tiger-like.
Amunet, while we all agree that RP is important, this is still a game and as long as we don't push the limit too far, don't annoy other people while they're trying to have some fun, I don't think such tiny changes should matter that much.

Amunet is a human, because the human race fits better than any other with the roleplay of an Occultist. I'm not going to go too deep into what you could find out from me IC, but one of the reasons why Amunet studies Occultism and follows Babel is because of her racial heritage. Humans are the direct descendants of the Unnameable Horror, and she believes that to deny the Chaos inherent in her blood would be the highest form of blasphemy.





I just hate the idea of what catgirls stand for in the collective internet psyche. Every catgirl I've ever met in Achaea has lived up to that stereotype. If you think you're doing something to change that image, more power to you--but I'm not going to hold my breath.

The first humans in Achaea had life spans that were millennia long. Some of the Offspring are even still alive, as was proven by Himalia's little visit to Sapience when ships were introduced. She isn't looking any worse for wear, despite being thousands upon thousands of years old.

The Mythos never specified how much more quickly or drastically the human lifespan would decrease as the years went on--only that it would do so gradually.

My suggestion was more "they must have been around before the wars to have fought in them". I suppose I should have been more explicit. But they were definitely around, just elsewhere (different planet).

It's explicitly stated that people died of old age in the days of Ye Olde Seleucar, and this at ages that would generally be considered "normal lifespans" for real-life humans. Why don't people age at the same rate in today's Achaea? Blame Aeon's inattention or a boon of the Modern Age or something; choose your own adventure in-game theory.

As for Gladius, Dawn, etc., a god or maybe vampire did it.

Apparently, the IG sirens have webbed feet and other things that make them closer to more fish-like mermaids than to ladies of the night. They're supposed to be something that's pretty, but could wind up expanding it's mouth and swallowing you whole, and not in a "LOLZ Knotty J0KE" way, actually eating you like this.


I personally suggest being a grook that isn't a magi, occultist or apostate. No one takes you as a threat, five kicks from a newbie will kill you, and you'll think of ideas that would make sense IC, but do nothing from a game perspective. Like dropping rocks on people as an "attack" bacause you know even if you do die, the rocks will come down with your body and your goal will be complete regardless. It's really quite humbling.
