I have enjoyed a relatively peaceful term as Tyrannus of Mhaldor and it has been loads of fun (and paperwork). Keeping with the tradition of those who have come and gone before me, I submit the following complaints, serious and humorous, for your viewing pleasure.
- Messages that would be easier to read in letters, where one could organize them into paragraphs, are not appreciated.
- The city has ministers and a ruling council. I appointed people to those positions so I wouldn't have to do everything myself and I delegate work to those I cannot appoint. Just because I can spread the work out and make sure it gets done efficiently does not mean that I don't know what is going on.
- If you want a copy of the city's laws, do not come straight to me. They are on a slab at the gates. If you are a formal enemy of the city-state of Mhaldor, ask someone who won't be chewed up by the guards to get a copy for you.
- Just because I am the pinnacle of mortal authority in a city-state does not mean that I will be ignoring novice tests.
- I reserve the right to set anyone in the city on fire.
- No, I am not holding your hand through a process that is clearly documented. If you decide that traditions and proper procedure are above you, I have a stake to burn you at.
- Just because I like you OOC and IG does not mean I am not willing to have executed/sacrificed.
- Do not send tells directly to the Tyrannus in an effort to find out where the Bathory Chalet is.
- If you tattle on a Mhaldorian breaking the laws, you are not entitled to hear the outcome.
- I love working with the Mhaldorian players (most of you). You guys make it all bearable.
- When in doubt, am I going to believe the steadfast Mhaldorian or you? You get one guess.

Nicest rant post ever. I hope my complaints end up so pleasant, but somehow I doubt that'll happen.

You forgot to add that you never managed to get Gack to organise the slaves in a teahouse building effort. That's a big disappointment!
You did a nice job, boss. I've got some stylish and sensible shoes to fill. Enjoy your rest.

Love the fire rule, you were pretty awesome from what I saw/heard. Sorry about stabbing you all those times...Also enjoyed the gloves conversation, you were the first Mhaldorian that Boz didn't immediately dislike (first of quite a few, but still a big first)! Congrats to Nulaye, I look forward to

I'm sad to see Kaevan go. While I didn't interact very much with him owing to the fact that I spend much more time on house things than on city things, I really loved most of your posts and what little interaction I did have. Also, I think you succeeded in setting more of a Stalinesque tone for Mhaldorian leadership and I really approve of that.
I want to put my vote behind Oblivion vs. Evil too. We've gotten too complacent after beating down Shalleleusyrene for so long now. It's more fun when Mhaldor has absolutely no allies and gets ransacked at three in the morning on a regular basis.

I was in Disneyworld! I was the last person to find out I was becoming Tyrannus. Nice transition, though... Babel drama aside.
I wonder if anyone ever inherits a city position without having to start by picking up metaphorical beer-soked broken glass and vomited-in pizza boxes. Probably not.
Oh, well. Good times. and yes of course I want the customisations when you get a few minutes, thanks!
Unfortunately the bit about robot trash cans hitting on me is not a lie.

Well, the rest of us have all had a go at it.
Don't worry, I won't be raiding you at three in the morning. Not that that subtracts much from the military might of Shallam.
@Kaevan: From what I hear, you did a good job. I'm sure the right to set people on fire at any time was a great boon in the discharge of the duties of city leader- supposedly the most difficult and draining player position in the game. (Now if only I'd had it.)
