For some reason, I was thinking about this topic the other day, and decided to post it up here to see if any of you have ever thought about this before. If one day you decide to completely leave Achaea, for good, (not the OH I'M QUITTING ACHAEA but then you see them again 3 months later

) what would you do before you left?
I would probably give all my unpreserved designs to public designs, share all my preserved designs without a passcode, and make a post with the list of designs in case any tailor or jeweller ever wanted to make them in the future.
I would also distribute whatever credits I had to friends and family.
I don't think I would RP a huge death scene, or a going away voyage or whatever. I also wouldn't sell any artefacts I have...because knowing me, at some point I'd always want to come back

(Unless I suicided Requa..but I don't think I would have the heart to do that)

I fought a divineish in a Freeforall once, does that count?
I dunno, I'd like a memory thing where I could probably pay just a little bit to have my body explode and have my last artefacts be destributed among my children, the active ones that talk with me. I'd also like a statue.. somewhere.
None of that is possible because you can't suicide credit buying characters.

Last one I can remember who beheaded Pentharian was Profit. I guess they changed it after that, since if I recall correctly Profit beheaded not just once but twice.
Amunet

For RP purposes, I actually do have a will written in-game that is several pages long and details the allotment of Amu's fortune, properties, and possessions, both tangible and alluded to. For brevity's sake, I'll put the highlights here:
-Imyrr, as Amunet's best friend and "closest relative" (Amunet considers Imyrr to be her 'sister with a penis'), is named as the executor of her estate.
-Amunet's private library is to be copied twice, and given to both the Occultists and the Divine Order of Lord Babel.
-The amount of gold necessary to fully furnish Amunet's ship, the "Nomen Nescio", for combat is to be taken out of her personal holdings, as well as enough gold to pay the crew for five years. The ship will then transfer into Manifest's ownership.
-All unpreserved designs, both tailoring and jewellery, will be bequeathed to Imyrr, the only other active tailor in the Occultists, to make use of as he sees fit.
-Of Amunet's monetary wealth, 25% will be donated to the Occultists, and 25% to the Divine Order of Lord Babel. The remaining half is to be divided equally between Sandriel, Astidios, Duske, Lilaeve and Sollis-- her three sons and two daughters who remained loyal to Chaos.
-Amunet's credit wealth is to be divided equally between Manifest, Imyrr, Flair, and Mahala.
-Finally, Amunet's mansion, mounts, jewels, and wardrobe, the original tomes within her personal library, all artwork and furnishings, any commercial investments, and any remaining personal effects that have not yet been allotted will be bequeathed to her daughter Mahala, as her primary heiress, under the condition that she will never put out any loyal adherent of Chaos of good character that has been granted permission to reside there.
As for the actual death part...I haven't thought that through, yet, but I want it to be something to remember. I do, however, have it worked out how I want Amu's remains disposed of:
-Before disposal, Amunet's heart is to be cut out, divided equally into two, and preserved. One half will be given to Manifest, and the other to Orklanishkal, as they were the only two people she ever truly loved.
-Amunet's truename will go to Flair, along with what remains of her liver, so that when he finally drops dead the House can compare the two and have a good laugh.
-Amunet's body will be healed, washed, makeup applied, and dressed in a charcoal-grey silk robe, kind of sari-style. Her body will be placed on a bier garnished with white roses and lilies, atop a pyre that has been erected just north of NoT.
-A three-day wake of bacchanalian proportions will then commence at sunrise, during which there is bound to be drinking, -ing, and fighting the likes of which Achaea has never seen.
-At sunset on the third day, the Occultists' ritualists and probably Mordanyconus will perform a funeral ritual, commending Amu's soul and body to Oblivion.
-The contents of Amunet's wine cellar and liquor cabinet, hopefully blessed by Babel prior to the funeral, will then be dumped over her body and lit aflame.
-The ritualists will hold a vigil over the pyre until nothing but ashes remain. The ashes will be gathered into a black marble urn, and then the ritualists will open a rift into primal Chaos and toss them in.

There are a few different possibilities, but I'm thinking epic ritual, like Flair. That seems to be a common way for Occultists to want to go out-- to sacrifice their lives to gain some massive benefit for Chaos.

While I respect your wishes, Amunet, and am suitably awed by them...
...I feel the need to point out that you run a higher-than-usual chance of having people plan to interrupt your funeral and cast the lot into a certain large fire. Which probably isn't the one you'd intended to be tossed into.
As for my own matter, Quoren would probably use his will to ordain a new Patriarch of Angels and urge him to finish a certain few private matters. Given that he has no real material wealth, all he has would be cremated with his body in the Basilican Pyre, except for his Order circlet, which would be held intact until Mithraea returned, and then given to her.

Rosaceae is going to suicide before my senior year of high school, or at least go -very- dormant.
I'm hoping she would be in Lady Valnurana's Order by then.. Because her actual death depends on that.
Before she left she would:
Give her journal to Kaina, along with all of her other non-combat related things.
Give her combat related things to Skegonga.
Donate what little gold she has to Hashan.
Have her falcon(Pazzoo) killed, preferably in one hit, and beg one of the divine to make let his spirit roam the Southern Vashnars.
Gather her mother, brother and Kaina, and go to each city, asking their forgiveness for all the things she has done to the cities as a whole.
Gather a small group of people who she disliked, were disliked by and all around had problems with and ask their forgiveness.
Request a non-violent meeting with the leaders of Shallam, Mhaldor and Eleusis. (She'd be lucky if that happened.)((I wish this would happen before I had to go))
Probably sulk around the library in Hashan for a while.
Get together with Aislynn and thank her for helping me with the pre-Order things.
Get together with Branak and thank him for being her mentor in the KoH.
Thank Lady Maya for helping her when she was a novice and got horribly lost. (I plan on doing this soon.)
Send Pandora another cookie.
Send Diavolo another cookie.
Send Amunet a potato.. And give her a hug.
Find out why there is a kitten in Lady Valnurana's temple
Kill the white tiger in the S. Vashnars and give his corpse to Lenneth, Asmodron and Scatter.
Share 'The Silas Song' with everyone on the poetry board and/or through shouts.
And have a tea party with Skegonga, Sevilla and Kaina.
When she actually dies, she would probably end up doing something quiet and hope that Lady Valnurana would guide her. It would probably end up being a variation of the story that Alp tells if you ask her about orchids. (I don't feel like getting the whole thing.) Or she would ask Lady Valnurana to allow her to go to sleep and never wake up.
That's not very well thought out and probably would end up differently, but that's what I would do if I had to suicide her right now..

Hmmmm... I am debating whether, if I choose to die, or maybe actually just go dormant, whichever. I want to be pickled using wine, viniger, or something in a "big clay pot", or mummified and put in a big clay pot, and this will be the way to do things when the pure of my family choose to die... If it ends up being wine, maybe as a form of ancestral worship, my family or whoever has access to my "big clay pot" can get some of the wine and drink it. To some of you this may seem weird/disgusting, but I intend to reach dragon, and I know this isn't China/Japan, but they drink Sake with snakes, toads, and lizards in it all the time, so I thought it would fit. Strange, I know. I'll have my mount/pet pickled too so they can eat it, unless I give it to someone...
