Do the forums look suddenly different for anyone else?

Nope. You probably changed some settings accidentally.

All replies to topics are at the bottom in list form. What is happening to me.

At the top of the thread, upper-right corner, above the "Post #1", click Options. Select Standard.

Under options near the top right of the thread, switch the display type to standard instead of outline.

It happened to me before due to searching google for something and viewing a thread linked off there. Seems google likes to display in that manner.

There used to be a home page with a different format. Like a newsletter or something.

I've never seen anything like that. Today's active topics and view new posts might be close enough to what you're looking for.
