What are some classes that won't get jumped all the time (all things being equal and the person not being a jerk)?
I would assume affliction based, classes with little escape ability, and those that can't one-shot kill you would not be teamed as much?
Otha

This depends entirely on the person, and not at all on the class.
The people who you don't want jumping are the people that will do it without regard to your class. Earn your respect in PvP and you'll be fine.

Your type of class doesn't factor into the chance of you being jumped. If you prove yourself as a competent fighter, be respectful and don't lame anyone. People will tend to leave you alone.
Yeah, its a matter of attitude there.
if you're getting jumped and harrassed, its you, not the class.

I've only been jumped once, by Goryllin while I was in Jaru semi-raiding Shallam (and failing miserably). He claimed to be doing it in the name of Cyrene or something stupid, but when in all reality, he could've challenged me to a duel, and I would've stood with text-honour.
^ask Nexas, she challenged me to a duel, I accepted, and died.
Oh, same for Drave (duel) <--That one was mainly me running my mouth though.
Come to think of it, for Goryllin playing a knight class, he didn't show much honour by just jumping me without asking for a duel first.

I wouldn't say Goryllin doesn't have honor. Thats one part he does pretty well, asking for duels and stuff. If you are raiding, even the most honorable guy isn't gonna come up to you and ask for a duel instead of just chopping you into pieces.

If I was going to jump someone, and I was trying to decide who to jump, If I was deciding this on the basis of class and nothing else. I would probably jump a serpent last, impossible to hold or chase the buggers down. But then again, im a shaman and I cant hold ANYTHING down.

Serpents, occultists and necromancers are the best runners. As a serpent you can block exits and you could probably ice wall as well if you have an enchanted ring, so their pretty nifty.

Goryllin had two contracts on me--or two causes, can't remember. One legit, one not. He dropped the non-legit one. Rped the other one well, and dueled me rather than jumped me. Haven't had a ton of interaction with him otherwise, but he handled all of that as honorably as possible.

People don't respect me.

Then again, I do tell marks and other people trying to kill me that I will use whatever method is necessary to kill them. Be it with the assistance of allies, borrowed artefacts, a totem, et cetera, it doesn't matter. This is because Rynn is really sick of the concept of Honour in combat. Or being fair for that matter. Combat just isn't fair. See: monk versus bard. (- off Darby I'm not dueling you)

I would avoid anyone with skill/class/stat enhancing artifacts, only cause two things will happen if I do 1) something in my combat system shuts down, and I lose all offensive capabilities (see my horribly built limb counter that I try and make work) or 2) I die in 3-4 hits (see: duel with Xenomorph/Goryllin/Akia)
other than that, the only other people/class I really hate sparing against is raja/mhun apostate and raja/mhun occultist

In general, the only way to avoid being jumped is to be scary enough that noone wants to mess with you, and respectful enough that noone will go out of their way to team you.
For me, I qualify for the former, and purposely exclude myself from the latter, so that things do not get bland. If I wasn't constantly an asshole to everyone in the game, noone would ever try to fight(team) me.
There's noone safe from me(if I decide to log in again) regardless of who you are, what class you are, or what you have.

There are also points where people won't jump you due to THEIR class. Certain classes just aren't good at keeping you from leaving the room to prepare. A monk can JPK in and start loading you up with tekura before you know what's going on. A jester, on the other hand, would probably have to start fashioning which can be easily avoided by simply leaving.

It doesn't help that you're a medium-level mark, when it comes to the getting jumped part. And you don't have a city, which is odd considering Ashtani were calling out that you were a Naga. I'd at least get a city so you get the defense and a reliable worm warp system.

I believe our interactions in-game were not very ic, and furthermore if you'd like to go into detail with your feelings regarding those said interactions I'd prefer you'd do it privately becuase they had nothing to do with this topic. And no class has nothing to do with being jumped obviously, I have just been using Tahlas as an outlet lately to be the bad guy which he is. I have several respectable charc. on all I.R.E. games and am not posting "wasted" at this time. I'm sure there is plenty of time for me to be likely banned in the future for all of that nonsense.
