So, I've never been able to visualize a female troll, let alone describe one. I'm offering 1 credit to the description provided that I like best. Brynja is a Cyrenian Priest, so nothing too dark. I don't want her to be hideous, but she IS a Troll, not a Siren. Go to town! (PM or post, whatever you prefer)

She is a powerful Troll and is a vision, of a sort. Brynja would easily stand seven feet tall if not for her hunched stance which permits her knuckles to graze along the ground. Her broad, snaggle-toothed smile easily lights up any room (assuming, of course, that the room is filled only with other trolls or extremely drunken dwarves). Brilliant green eyes sparkle from under her thick, furrowed brow. Greasy, stringy black hair contrasts perfectly against the mottled grey-green of her rubbery skin. She is a powerful Troll and is quite fetching for her race. Her pale grey skin is smooth and nearly clear of lichen patches. Her blue grey eyes shine under massive brows, which have tiny ferns and various minuscule wild flowers planted upon them. Her dark hair is of an indeterminable colour, but is neatly plaited with roots of the bushes that crown this magnificent creature. She stands nearly 7 foot tall, her stooping frame is difficult to estimate. She moves agilely with the grace of a hippo in water. Her strength is evident as her muscles ripple beneath the mismatched, ill fitting clothing that hangs in tatters about her body.
Yes? No?

I meant to portray that she lumbers through forests and thickets and brambles without noticing them, that's why they are tattered. She doesn't take care of her clothing.
The "this is why we can't have nice things" reason.
Clarified, perhaps, through the kind ministrations of Mr. Benerene-erene.

If you want to put clothing into a description, buy it, if you want it tattered, design it. Don't add it to the description itself.
QUOTE

She is wearing:
An elegant dress shirt of deep indigo,
A lush fur lined robe, and
shadowy assassin trousers.
Makes no sense.
Also, don't put movement into a description.
QUOTE

You're just looking at her, not watching her. If you want to see her move, just watch her emote or enter/exit a room. If she wants to portray grace, she can use other means.
And if you're wondering why I'm so picky, it's because being an HoN (In the Kongregate era) does that to you. That would be an unacceptable description to pass the HR1 reqs for the Warlocks.
Reader Digest version: Describe what you look like, not how you move or what you're wearing. There are game mechanics for that.

I agree with Jonathin about the clothing and such, and Brynja's clothing is anything but ill-fitting and tattered. I guess what I'm looking for (and should have specified in the first place) is sort of a refined Troll, not a forestal Troll.

Try starting lines with something other than she or her. Don't tell someone that something is difficult for them, or that they will find her 'fetching'. Also, the troll you described is not fetching for a troll. Nothing in Achaea makes trolls ugly. They're just, as I said, grey, taller, muscular, and slender.

Nothing makes trolls ugly...except for a player's whim.
And of course, one can make 'New troll here, mon' cunning-faced, tusked marauders, just as anyone can make a bigger and stronger(though slightly less intellectual) version of humans.

I was not talking about individual player descriptions. I was replying there to the line "is quite fetching for her race" followed by what seems to be attempts to make her seem unattractive, seemingly indicating trolls are normally worse.

Along the top parts of his arms and legs, white diamonds with dark brown interiors stand tip to tip all the way to his shoulders and hips. His head has two dark brown spots going back from each side of the top of his head, down the back of his neck. The plates around his right eye are almost black, and around his left eye are marred and deformed. His hairless head boasts a lengthy scar that starts at the bridge of his nose, stretches across his left eye, around to just before his left ear, and then down to the base of his neck. Standing somewhere just above five feet tall, his short stature is matched by his broad shoulders and powerful arms. Stubby but strong legs support his whole body, and two large feet below them, support his legs. On his left arm, he bears the mark of his Caste. The skin charred and burned, showing the brand of a single eye, containing a flaming spiral in the iris portion, inside the outline of a Phoenix, marking him as the Fledgling Guardian.

She stands at around six foot tall, though walks with a slight stoop as if trying to make herself a little smaller. Auburn hair falls down her back in a long ponytail, several braids worked into the length and fastened with colourful beads and silver bells that rattle against each other and create a gentle musical sound as she moves her head. Her skin is a pale grey in shade, and a heavy brow casts light shadows over her deep yellow eyes, making them stand out starkly against her almost gaunt face.

1 credit doesn't really make much difference to me or the character, as there's a large stack of them still unspent in Stat for Katia.
I never said the desc was amazing, or the work of ages what will last forever in the tomes of time, it's okay.
I also never said she was moving her head all the time, or walking all the time, but people who walk with a stoop also tend to stand with a stoop and I had already used the word 'stand' in the sentance so didn't want to repeat myself, and the head moves almost constantly on anyone, even when sat still, your head moves slightly, often just to the beat of your heart.
Who are you arguing with anyway? Your points and comments seem to refer to things I never even thought.. let alone said..

She is a winged Atavian. She is tall, slim and slender. Swirling locks of golden
blonde hair cascades down her beautiful and elegant face and falls to her tiny
waist. Her eyes sparkle with beautiful shades of blue, shifting in colour ever
so slightly to her moods. Her luscious, full lips are strawberry pink in colour,
soft and kissable. Her ethereal, gracefully shaped ivory wings envelops her
curvaceous, feminine body, fluttering from time to time. Upon her exposed lower
back, just slightly in view beneath her wings, lies a tattoo of a flitting
butterfly, it's wings gliterring blue and purple. She is wearing a beautifully
vibrant butterfly earring through her right ear, a shimmering violet star
sapphire engagement ring, a beautifully vibrant butterfly earring through her
left ear, a golden emperor butterfly ring, a suit of splint mail, a long-stemmed
blue tulip, a summer dress of falling orchids, a glittering pair of starlit glass slippers, a canvas
backpack, a dainty anklet of shimmering butterflies, and a silk cloak of
beautiful embroidered pink petals.
Hope this helps!
