-Also, never actually fought you or had a beef with you, atleast not on Triak... so not sure why you are trying to insinuate that I am constantly just trying to completely demoralize my enemies and only pick fights I can win. I have fought countless fights that I had no chance in, for rp reasons- I know that I will die, but thats not the point.



Damn good questions, hence my chuckle about needing better teammates when this is what achaean combat comes down to any more.

When I saw Manifest bring Terra, I was like "Ha! I counter, go pika--I mean Go, Draekar!" And then I cried as nothing happened.

If Draekar had enmeshed/webbed Terra and kept her off Goryllin's back, then they could probably have won. Neither Terra or Manifest are in a tanky class, and its versus a dragon and paladin.

Draekar didn't do anything there. Neither did you. You had a several option to lay down rites (warding and cleansing could slow them down a bit). Fix your wielding scirpts. And if you are trying to ask for deliverance, try to do it while you are not aeoned.

On the other hand, that was probably one of the worst Occie/Serp tandem (even though both are great 1 vs 1). If there had been Poergh and Santar. Gory would have been dead in 20 seconds.

Yeah, against Poergh and Santar, even if Draekar had helped, it would have been hopeless. But in this case, they actually had a chance, but they missed it.

They arent tanky, but they sure as hell can escape if they need to.

This happens to us too, btw. Bonko had to deal with 3-4 people pounding on him while he witnessed. He got somewhere around five writs, and then completed them all shortly thereafter.

Haha, I don't know what you people think Poergh and Santar would have done differently. I was a dwarf, ffs. Maybe Draekar can post how quickly we truelocked/beheaded him as a Dragon? Or we can post logs of Terra and I killing 15 Shallamese.. I'll admit it wasn't one of our cleanest kills, but Goryllin never had a chance to win that, and we dropped another shrine with Draekar's corpse. I think this is a win for us!

Also: Don't criticize us for wanting to "avoid real combat" or whatnot when you get delivered away after burst during 2v2.

I wasn't drunk, but I wasn't paying much attention. I was sitting in Fire and Spice talking to Flair one moment, then suddenly Manifest's like "Lusting! Lusting!" and I'm fighting Goryllin!

So, I was basically just mashing three dstab aliases and waiting for him to get aeon-locked.

Difficult to pay too much attention to a fight when your opponent is hardly even fighting back. I'm pretty sure I've seen worse, though.

My ping was 5000 ms. And Terra -was- drunk. And I was typing with my toes.

Not really a 2 v2. I respond to manifest baiting with shrine defiling. Leave draekar at the shrine spot to chase manifest, manifest brings terra who immediately attacks me while I am still trying to switch to having weapons. I bring draekar to try to even the odds because no way for me to leave them (not knowing geography plus tentacles stopping me every time I try to move), but that fails. Its 2 v 1 in the entire log and my death.

Why not try to ask for the only way out, and something I rarely ever do.

Besides I have never ever ever once been one of the people ranting or wanting conflict. I have plenty of it. I get jumped and teamed plenty of it. Its simply a true measure of the way achaea is and why certain aspects of things are dead when someone in an Order filled with marks defiles and then immediately lusts him some help if anyone shows up. The aspect wasnt for him to have conflict but for him to dominate or bully whoever he was targetted. Its the way the game is played any more, sadly enough.

Goryllin, come on man. Quit claiming that I'm bullying people, or that I'm "baiting" you with shrine defiling. I've dropped over 10 Phaestus shrines in the past two days. Shrine defiling is ORDER CONFLICT, it is not 1V1 CONFLICT. If you're going to enter a defiling war with Babel's Order, you should be ready to face group combat.

I miss teaming with Bonko..also kinda considering joining an Order that is actually politically involved, I loooove team combat. Especially when I win!

Draekar was actually in the room before I attacked. Obviously, he wasn't able to do much, and that's a shame. I felt kinda bad. But really, what do you expect us to do? I was in a room with Manifest and two enemies. Obviously, I attacked the enemies. It's not really something to complain about.

You just need to learn how to do more than mash one damage macro, to be honest. You could've easily survived that. 1v2s really aren't impossible most of the time. You could've saved yourself by shielding like a thousand times in that log. You could've actually attacked between aeons when you weren't hindered. Being teamed sucks sometimes, but sometimes it can also be really fun. Just deal with it. Learn to fight and have fun anyway. It's not like you got 10-person ganked or enf/absed or something.

Yeah..it IS strange that Draekar was already just one room away when you delivered him. Looks like you already had plans to make it 2v1 anyways!

One time I defiled a Mith shrine in Jaru intentionally by myself so I could fight whatever opposition showed up by myself. 3 people showed up, got the writ, and then they stood there. Their group consisted of a dragon, a semi-combatant paladin, and I -think- a magi. Plus they had some lowbie sentinel or somesuch (but they don't really count, I s'pose). I poked and provoked even when it was obvious they would decimate me if they all just hit their bashing macro at the same time and they still did nothing. Terrible. [/story time]

I wasnt complaining about you Terra. I wasnt complaining at all in truth. I did think it kinda funny that I lived as long as I did. Draekar was at the shrine Manifest was baiting at, I delivered him when I saw manifest throwing the lust card (we were about 5 rooms away from the destroyed shrine at this point). I was just posting logs.

I dont really shield, that alias isnt in my list of things to do. But once you really got things flowing I was screwed.

I cant see through battle spam, probably my greatest weakness. Tis why I am better against damage people (slow) than I am against fast afflicters. I can see through damage and tank better than I can try to keep up with things when lots of people are attacking, especially two affliction classes. I couldnt even time aeon right to wield weapons. When I tried, I always seem to have the command go through later than expected.
