So I got a new computer, and broke down and bought CMUD so I wasn't putzing around on Nexus anymore. Any have a mapper config file that works well? What I've got from fumbling around seems to be catching the exits line as part of the room description, and missing some descriptions entirely.

Also, what do I need to do to get it to automatically recognize in and out as directions?

Thanks!

First, you'll need to define the 'in' and 'out' directions. There are direction objects you use for this.

Second, I'd suggest you develop your own triggers that can catch the room name, exits, and prompt and that you then use the #tag command to tell Cmud that these lines are the room name, exits, and prompt. Otherwise you'll probably always have sketchy recognition of these items if you leave it up to Cmud to figure it out.

If you do a search on Zuggsoft's web site you can probably find my triggers I posted there if you don't want to create your own.
