1. Does anyone mind sharing their method of refilling in MUSH? I'm very much a visual learner.

More important:
2. Ok, I have a Toshiba Satellite a205-S5803. I want to update my video card drivers or whatnot, but everywhere I've gone so far I've been told to download some "free" (not really) program that will automatically scan and replace bad drivers (only if you buy the damn thing). The reason I'm trying to do this is because several games I own have problems rendering textures, et cetera. Such as, the ground being broken into large blocks of one color or specifically, the icons and menus in WoW (don't judge me sad.gif) not rendering (I see words and such, but no graphics). I'm reluctant to accept the fact that my shoddy computer just can't handle these games, even when I turn their graphic settings all the way down. Halp prz?
Mishgul
I am judging you. You are a terrible person.

I have refilling aliases. They look like this for each individual thing.

<aliases>
<alias
match="^make (.*?) health$"
enabled="y"
regexp="y"
sequence="100"
>
<send>outr %1 valerian
outr %1 ginseng
outr %1 goldenseal
outr %1 myrrh
inpot %1 myrrh in pot
inpot %1 goldenseal in pot
inpot %1 ginseng in pot
inpot %1 valerian in pot
drop pot
boil pot for health</send>
</alias>
</aliases>

sad.gif My brother told me to try the trial, and I am. sad.gif

So you don't automatically multiply by four? In other words, for one health superfill you do "make 4 health"?
Mishgul
yep. I have arti vials that's why.

Why not go to the toshiba website to get the drivers for the video card?

My guess is you want the 'display driver'. There's one for windows 7 on the first page, and on the third page there is one for windows vista. they should help.

If not, go to your Device Manager and look through there and find the drivers it says you need, or might need. Usually they're noted by question marks, or if you just don't see the driver there. I'm just guessing it's the display driver that you need to update, but it's possible it could be something else
berenene
Yes, get the display driver for whatever OS you're using.
Rynn
Well, this sucks. Went to the device manager. Saw no question marks, so I went ahead and made it search for updates for various drivers I believe are related to the issue. No new drivers. Downloaded the driver for Vista off of the Toshiba site. I go to install it and it says there are no components to update (the hell?), and consequently fails at installing every time I try it. I r want new compooter.
berenene
How odd. Not sure what else to try, as I'm not all that familiar with Vista
Trevize
You 'want to update your drivers' why? It's possible there are no newer ones for your OS/card.

Refilling, I have my old refilling plugin for MUSH somewhere around here... not sure why it's not on my website...
Rynn
I 'unno. tongue.gif I just don't know what else to do, as I've fiddled the hell out of all settings in the games this issue happens with. Plus someone mentioned drivers elsewhere, and that was the only thing that seemed like a possibility (outside of getting a new computer).
Trevize
Hmm. Generally I get drivers from the manufacturer's website. But what are the specs on the card?
