Okay, so I know that there are plenty of people from other countries, but does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to log onto Nexus in Japan. It just sits and looks for the server then either times out, says the network is unreachable, can't find the server, or can't connect for some other reason.
My internet connection is working fine, so I didn't know if there was some other reason anyone could think of.

Is it a work- or school-connection? If so, the network admins could've prevented outgoing connections to port 23. You could also try to open up a console and try to ping achaea.com or telnet to achaea.com.

Using Vista or XP? If Vista, press <windows key>+R. If XP, then Start->Run. It asks for the name of a program, type CMD.
Then, try "ping achaea.com" and "telnet achaea.com".

And to answer your next question: Yes! Achaea -does- include wearable tentacle tattoos!

I thought there was something about Achaea being banned in China or Japan ... Maybe I'm thinking another game but I think Sarapis was all upset about it at one time.

Achaea in Philippines is okay. Nexus stops sometime especially when I need do something important. This make me use Zmud which I got free (Please don't ask. Poverty make me do it. I want try learn Mush but eyes bleed when see scripts because I am not master of this). The speed in zmud is okay. I get laggy more than others sometime. Maybe third world connections is should blame.

Standard height satellites can't get around it though. Just due to the distance, you end up with at least a 1000 ms (round trip) latency. Low-orbit satellites are promising, dropping it to 300 ms (round trip) and lower, but they're not really used much yet.

Oh, no, I completely understood you!
It's just obvious you spend a
LOT more time thinking about your posts than anyone else here on the forums. (Which is a good thing!)
I like being able to see the thought process behind the writing - and it is evident for non-native english speakers.
