No....salute...ever. Not to mention impossible to pull off with two axes. Please run a little contest or something to describe this better. I can't shake images of Dudley Dooright out of my head.

I am going to have to agree with the OP that the axe-flipping salute is in clear violation of the "Don't ask, Don't tell" policy and therefore subject to administrative action under the UCMJ.

As ever, constructive criticism on any work we do is welcomed. The operative word there being "constructive".

For the next 7 days I will be accepting submissions, in-game via letters, of what people believe would be a suitable replacement for the DRAW SALUTE messages. At the completion of the week, the Garden will select the three best of all the submissions. Once we have done this, I (or Pentharian) will start a poll thread in this subforum so that all players can vote on what they believe is the best and the one to be added to the game. If you can think of more than one alternative, feel free to submit them all.

The big caveat that you must keep in mind for your entry to be considered, is that the messages must be suitable for all weapon types.

You will need to submit both first and third person perspectives for your idea.
