It would be nice if I could still view the list of tasks, even though I can't complete them, so that I can help newbies with them. We had a newbie asking about one a few minutes ago, and I was completely clueless what he was talking about.

It's because you made Boz after tasks were put into place. I don't think anyone will deny you the "nub status", though.
I can see the tasks too, but there's probably another reason for that.

There's probably some sticky coding around this. It's a good idea, but I'm not sure how easy it'll be to implement. You could always just ask the newbie in question what the task is asking of them.

You can also view tasks with some powers in your House, I thought. Not your own, but I'm sure if you can be told what the task is, I think it should be easy enough to figure out, eh?

I have no idea what the restrictions are, but they're probably a little mixed up depending on a number of factors. I don't see a reason why you shouldn't be able to see them, especially to help out newbies.
