Full Version: Keeping Track Of Documents?

I started using Scrivener on the Mac. It is software used for writing books and scripts. Found it helpful for cross-linking and reference holding. I started using it a while back on books I'm writing, it's pretty awesome.

Basically what I write in here I'll transfer to journals and manuscripts in game. It's much easier to write out of and then copy/paste back in.

What do you use to keep track of documents and records?
Jonathin
Notepad.
And umm, wrong forum.

How does this relate to roleplaying?

Edit: EditPad Pro, especially because it can remove line breaks from journals and letters with a single click. Very helpful.

Related to roleplaying as to writing down roleplaying information (not maps).

Suppose the topic can be for general writing down things, I didn't think about that when I posted it.
Danith
We could give you your own thread here, if you'd like. That way, everyone would know you are roleplaying.

Wow, that was rude.

I was just asking a normal question as I thought people that may be doing the same thing have good solutions to share.

If you have something to say, why not just saying it or message me if you feel I'm posting too much on here. There is no reason to be rude and passive aggressive about it. I certainly didn't treat you in any disrespect, why do you feel you can lash out at me?

Also last I checked, forums isn't the game itself, it's for the person behind the character.

I know, right? People tell me I'm a horrible person these days.

Hundreds and hundreds of txt files. Metzger would have an enormous library, if I gave enough of a - to drop the money for one. Which I don't. So TXT files they will remain.
Ashen
.txt files and .opd files.

He's Danith. The only solution is murder, but I haven't been able to track him down yet.
