Im looking for a mud client that i can use that supports variables, triggers, aliases, just some general stuff that i can use while im ssh'd into my debian box. I.E. no X, anyone used any even slightly useable clients that would fit that description, right now when im connected this way its via telnet, and thats just well...painful.

TinTin++ will work on Debian. I've never used it myself, but I've heard good things.

You could try Tinyfugue.

I'd imagine you can run MUSHclient through Wine, I do on Ubuntu, a Debian derivative.

Well, he's looking for alternatives that don't require X (no graphical environment) since he's ssh'd into his Debian box. Otherwise there's Xpertmud, Kmuddy, Kildclient, etc.

There's really plenty of good clients that run on *nix machines. It's just that a lot of people seem to ignore them gah.gif

Oh. blush.gif Missed that part. Just got back from work and saw the title and that no one had suggested Wime/MUSH. Oops?

tintin++ seems to be a winner. Not exactly mush but it beats the heck outta telnet.

I swear by Mudlet. It is hands down the best choice for mudding. Absolutley love it. (Could use a compass and stat read outs though Vadi tongue.gif)

Oh. Tinyfugue is powerful but a bitch to write anything for, and tt++ is great and easy to get into, but I've been getting some crashes with the more recent versions.

Edit: I need to learn to read the questions before answering

sad.gif Not for me if they're only doing Lua. While I like and recommend Lua, it shouldn't be the only choice.
