I tried to look for this on the forums, but couldn't find it... burrowing in the arena doesn't work. Why not and can we have it please?

It would make it too easy to just hide during an entire arena event. You also can't phase, and if I remember right astralform and blackwind are disabled too. Anything that easily cuts you off from everyone else.

How about just disabling it for events then? Leave it for duels?

I'm pretty sure you can astral in the arena, but you wouldn't want to do it to hide during an entire event because of the willpower drain. I've not heard of anyone doing it anyway.

Yeah! I meant astralling for the entire event...which I'm not sure what the point of that would be anyway. You're still going to have to beat someone to win, heh.

Can Blackwind/Astralform. Especially if you're Jahan.

I don't like the sound of it. Wouldn't bother fighting Druid/Sentinel on soft ground in arena, then. Grove stalemate all over again,

"Fine, then I'll get a pop tart!"

In freezetag and bait the frog, hiding away for the entire event gives you a much better chance of winning. For fighting events, I can't imagine how running/hiding would be fun, but it happens already.

I don't think you have class skills at all during bait the frog and freezetag.

I forgot about that. I know it's true of bait the frog, I've never played freeze tag though and it's not mentioned in the help file.

You can astralform and blackwind in the arena.

It is very annoying.

Blackwind takes 100 willpower and 5% essence to start. With Fabled Philosophy, blackwinding for one minute loses me right around 2000 willpower, out of 15400 total. By using blackwind sparingly, it would be possible to avoid fighting for a whole, but you can't actually win any events that I know of by running and hiding. If you were to that in a rampage, you'd come out with one person left and you'd have no willpower.

A log someone showed me a little while ago shows blackwind taking 500 willpower to start, and then 100 every 4 seconds. That's roughly 1410 willpower a minute at inept philosophy, 1320 at trans.

Astralform takes 250 willpower on activation and drains 100 willpower every four seconds.

Orbs shouldn't prevent flight in arenas. :/
