It works unanchored and with no wildcards, but as soon as I put 1 wildcard into it, or put 1 anchor on it, it stops firing.

It works if I swap "you" and put a {w} in there, so it must just be the way I have the trigger constructed?

try removing the new line tags. see if that makes a difference

I just made a group for the whole thing and left is "from a trader's satchel." and disabled the group when I didn't need it.
