Full Version: Looking For Audeo's Artwork

I have no real hope of finding anything, but I was looking for the artwork of some old artisinal winners. The website archive only goes back to 2004, and these are probably from 2001-2003 time frame. Specifically I was looking for the artwork created by the player "Audeo" though I think it would be great if any of the old winners could be posted.

On some level 6+ years is a short time, on another I suppose it is ancient history. I can still vividly recall some of the artwork from when I was first playing and was sad to see that the archives did not go back that far. The only player name I could definitely recall though was Audeo so I thought I would start there.

Sadly the pictures themselves are lost in time unless someone else stored them, but I did manage to find 3 locations *where they were* by him.

They Are
'No Apologies'- Two Artesinal Icons- Mar '02 (No Description)
'Ruhn, Audeo, and the Manticores' -Three Artesinal Icons - Apr '02 (No Description)
'Ulangi's Tiny Waterfaal' - Two Artesinal Icons - May '02
"(This portrays Coto and I at one of our favorite spots in Achaea.)"

I'll try and find some more pictures if there are any, but I'm sad to say I don't think that they're backed up unless someone else made a copy for themselves.

These I found also, on the Wayback machine, but it could not bring up the pictures

I wonder why they're even gone. Anyone know why old artisinals are removed from the site?
Nivm
As the opinion of old art is high, I also wish to know where these things have gone, for it doesn't make sense that the staff would simply delete them all. It'd be such a waste.
Dinkybarrel
They weren't 'removed' so much as someone broke something and they disappeared. I think it was Aeyr.

Subject : Artisanal and Bardic works

Well gang, I've got some really bad news. In the process of updating a
couple of aspects of the website, I wound up accidentally deleting the
archive of player submitted artisanal and bardic works. As it turns out,
due to a detail of how our backup system works, this is unfortunately
permanent. This doesn't affect your data at all, only the directory of
files holding the submissions. We're updating our backup policies to
make sure something like this doesn't happen again.

Again, I feel really badly about this, I know a lot of you spent a lot
of time on those works.

Also, this means we have to cancel January's contest (as those were also
lost). You're free to enter February's contest though (once I finish
resetting the system).

I lost the only copy of my first bardic win cause of that. I did it on a public computer so I didn't have a backup sad.gif
