I've been working on a description for my human Monk, and I've got just one question: how do you describe Asian facial features? More specifically, Japanese or Korean or something similar to that. I know I can't just use "Asian" because there is no Asia in Sapience, but I want her to have that "look".

dunno, maybe something about the eyes. squinty eyes never hurts, and uhhh...silky cream colored skin is usually the way people go.

Try sticking to features that bring the look together. Straight black hair, exotic eyes, slightly deeper skin tone, it can all come together fairly nice without saying they look Asian. You could always toss up your ideas for descriptions here, to get a bit of help with proofreading/suggestions, but just remember that at the end of the day, it's your decision to wear the description.

Right - straight black hair, almond shaped or slanted eyes, skin tones from tan to light brown and so forth, I get that all, but I'm wondering about the facial features in general. You know - cheek, chin, nose structure, so on. How is it put into words?

'Almond shaped eyes' is good and the term 'exotic' is also a good one to go with.

Honestly, the best advice I can give, is find a picture of someone you want your avatar to look like, then describe the hell out of it. People of all races/genders can have similar/different features, a slim angular jawline, high cheekbones, it just depends on exactly what you want the character to look like. Perhaps if you toss a picture up here, you could have some feedback as to how people would describe it as well.

Hmm.
Each description is unique and you pretty much have to write the whole thing yourself rather than be able to put together snippets by others. Here's what I would put. You can use it, alter it to your liking or maybe it'll serve as inspiration. Here's my take:
She is a human and has a fairly small frame. High cheekbones stand out in her otherwise softly angled face. She has almond shaped eyes with a vibrant brown hue in stark contrast to her dark eyelashes. A short nose sits above her pale pink lips. Straight, thick raven coloured hair falls down to just past her shoulders. Her lightly tanned skin adorns her slim musculature.
Mind you, this is very basic and is based upon some pictures searching Google images (using 'japanese facial structure' to avoid the um *cough* unpleasant image results).
As some basic rules for a first description, here are some things to avoid:
-No describing items of clothing
-No actions or implication of actions by the onlooker (like someone being in awe of your beauty or you winking as you see people looking at you, things like that)
-Try to avoid starting each sentence the same way like 'she has' or 'her'
Good luck!
Btw, your avatar is made of win.

I disagree. Jewelery or clothing is fine, as long as it can't interfere with the real clothing. Stuff that you can't wear in Achaea is a good example.

Odd, never noticed that line before. This is still there, and is what I go by.

Further, please remember that adding clothes to your description will look silly, as they may contradict with what you are, in reality, wearing.
Basically, I see it as usable when it can't contradict anything you could wear.

Another good way is to find an author that uses them, and look at the way they describe them. Fantasy is a good bet, most of the time the people from them won't be from RL countries like Asia, Europe, etc, and so will describe facial features not using words like "he/she has an asian face".

http://cedarseed.deviantart.com/art/Guide-...part-1-32046017This may be of some assistance. It's generally intended for artists, but I've found it to be quite helpful in providing a reference to help describe the features of various ethnicities more specifically.
I'd be glad to give you some ideas or constructive criticism on your description. Just PM me, or hit me up on one of the screen names in my profile.

He is a Mhun. Swept elegantly across his face, pale hair with a silvery hue
frames a noble profile and falls to slender shoulders. His starlight blue eyes
radiate warmth and kindness, humour written in the faint lines at their corners.
He is possessed of the slim figure and medium stature characteristic of his
race. An ever present wariness shows in his bearing, his movements cautious and
controlled, cautious for threats from Evil and Chaos. A deep scar begins on his
right shoulder, slashing across his chest and disappearing beneath his attire, a
relic untouched by his healing magic. Visible across the back of his neck, the
words "If only an angel's wings could shelter us all" are tattooed with a muted
shine. He is ever illuminated by a soft aura of pure white light, emanating from
his guardian angel, Evangelus. He is wearing a silver and steel armband, a suit
of splint mail bearing the House arms of the Empyreal Assembly, 2 plain gold
rings, a plain silver ring, a bag of stasis, a gold gossamer pouch detailed with
angelic glyphs, a plain platinum ring, a soft leather pack, a belt of the silver
mace, a ring of pestilence, a twinkling spiritual mace stud of bright platinum
through his left eyebrow, formal white trousers with decorative silver trim, a
radiant white and silver cloak, a priest's white robes of holy judgment, a pair
of shimmering white silk slippers, and a vest with enormous angel wings. He
walks with the highfavour of Vastar.
