alright say I have two trigger lines that are a lot a like but I want them to do two completely different things

Your aura of weapons rebounding disappears.

and

%w's aura of weapons rebounding disappears.

How do I make it so that they don't conflict

They shouldn't, because of the apostrophe.

He says he made this trigger
QUOTE
#REGEX {^(\w+) takes a long drag off (?:his|her) pipe\.$} {#sub {%ansi( 15)~ +[%ansi( 43)+++%1 SMOKED PIPE+++%ansi( 15)~]+}}
but doesn't understand that triggers with separate patterns won't conflict? lol.

Before I changed it, that was
CODE
#TRIGGER {%1 takes a long drag off {his|her} pipe.} {#sub {%ansi( 15)~ +[%ansi( 43)+++%1 SMOKED PIPE+++%ansi( 15)~]+}}
Cooper
Which even then was a trigger he had from the person he bought the system from smile.gif

Lesson #1

#ECHO Hello, world!
Gorlasintan
#SAY > #ECHO
Saadya
CODE
#SAY > #ECHO
       ^ argument expected

#SAY > #ECHO

#say sends to the world that issued it, #echo to the current world. Each has their use, in single-world setups there is no difference.
Gorlasintan
I know. I was being contrary for the sake of it.

Saadya
Shouldn't you count time from the moment they smoke?
Trici
comming=/=coming.

CODE
^You raze [A-Z][a-z]+\'s aura of rebounding with

and no never ever base it off pipe smoked. cause then every time they smoke a pipe you'll get the same things. It's best to base it off when thier rebounding is dropped, cause really if they smoke valerian or elm do you want to hold off on dsling them because their rebounding is coming up according to your system?

\w won't match ', \w is [a-zA-Z0-9_]. What he had is fine. It would also work fine if it did match, since it still specifies that the 's is there.

I don't see anything wrong with the trigger, I tested it and it works fine for me.

You could have it only catch pipe smoking after rebounding goes down. It still wouldn't be perfect, but it would be a bit more accurate.
