You glance over Naix and see that his health is at 1968/3075.



I froze him 3 times, had all 4 limbs broken and him prone and pounded 3 times. Didn't even die. The time before that where I got 2 pounds off he got down to 500 health, I'm guessing that frozen + prone makes it hurt even harder now that I think about it...

I had a raja serp tank 4 consecutive prone bites and a simultaneous full run of breathstorm.

I don't think there was an SoA involved, but I couldn't tell because - hide.

Yea he does, I used the trusty ole ctrl+f function to see and he totally had an SoA, but I dunno if that did it. I'll test when I get back from vacation.

it has to be double frozen. Did you freeze him three times? (caloric, freeze, freeze) i only saw applying twice and teh second one would be a redef as far as i can see.

It increases pound damage by 250%. Pound is blunt damage that is almost entirely maxhealth based. A 16 str troll pound to an Occie with 15 blunt armour, 6700 health and 20 blunt shield did 2400 unfrozen and 6000 frozen. an 11 str raja against the same occie did 1400 unfrozen and around 3500 frozen. When I was raja people would tank 4-5 pounds before dying. When I was troll it would usually take 1 maybe 2.

I'm sure there is an Ik aspect to the skill, I KNOW i've seen people shatter into pieces aftera freeze and pound.

There can be a special death message without it being an instakill. There are several of them.

SoA is the the only way they could have tanked that. Unless they had runes + earthshield + toughskin + tf, then MAYBE they could have tanked it without SoA hitting 2 of the bites.

freeze pound used to be instantkill but it used to be ridiculously easy to pull off so it got nerfed. With the advent of systems it's laughabl eto get stuck in a situation against a druid. A druid can't do much to you prone, unless hehadbehead and you had no abilities to stop it whilst prone. I generally apply one caloric before applying the second restoration. I'd rather be prone and a live than frozen and dead.

So here's the deal, he stood up after he healed legs right, right after he stood up he was frozen x2. How do I know this? Because if you're not prone and not frozen completely, you can't be pounded, so obviously he WAS frozen, nothing shrugged. I hit him 3 times with pound, he didn't die, he was completely frozen. I tested damage prone + frozen against damage jsut frozen and its the same, obv prone without being frozen is less damage but that couldn't have been the case given the scenario.

i still want to know how to kill dragons as druids. Someone tried to explain it to me before, probaly Carmain but i still can't do it.

depends on the dragon on their curing. Against someone competent you have no chance. The only real way is a quadbreak behead and hope they don't tumble.

not sure what you are asking. maxhealth doesn't matter much, the amount of health they have when you begin pounding, and how good their regeneration/sip matters more.

Well the fact of the matter is that I'm mhun, with 10 str, but honestly I don't really even see a reason to be anything else, this class is pretty terrible as-is and I might as well go raja monk if I wanted to kill someone with limb breaks (assuming that I can't go infernal due to my city/ally restrictions, etc) or damage. I'm gonna wait it out for a week or two, maybe something interesting will come to mind.

Might suggest pound speed or pound damage be modified a bit to make it more realistic. It's an incredibly long setup for regular BBT damage.
