I will most likely attend on any of the above dates, and my preference is for London as it is easiest to get to, though I would still attend if it were to be held elsewhere.

Again I briefly express my interest in attending a UK meet at the dates suggested, albeit with the proviso that I will not be sacrificed in a homage to the wickerman to Neraeos.

I'd come if I had transportation on any of the dates. I'm not sure when i'm going abroad though until closer to the dates.

It's a possibility. I'm hoping to be in England sometime this summer anyways, might as well plan it around a meet.

It's also possible that I'd attend, although it would depend mostly on the exact dates and location.

Great! Well, we seem to have a decent response, and the most people seem to be what he initially talked about: Weekend of the 3rd-5th of July in London.

For convenience sake, I'm guessing it will be best if we all stay at the same place, or at least close to each other. Any suggestions from the people that have been there before?

How many people will be wanting to do some sight-seeing while they're there, and who will want to sleep most of the day to allow for much partying at night?

Some people might only come for one or two of the days - what day will most people be in attendance, so we could do some sort of big event?

Is everyone coming 18 or older?

Awesome bars, plenty to do, great for sight seeing, and nowhere as busy / smokey / -ty as London.

Closer to Stanstead Airport than central London, and you have two ready made guides; Me and Dumah!

None of the bars are smokey, that's illegal now. It's outside bars that gets smokey, not that it's a problem going outside in July.

Cambridge is better than London by the way. If everyone can do either one, and some people can't do London, why are you thinking of going there? Bear in mind that I didn't read anything in this thread.

Because not everyone can do either one, and some of those that can would prefer London.

I don't see why those of you who can't make it to London shouldn't have a meet in Cambridge, though!

I can do London on any date with certainty, and might even have a couch for someone to crash on if they are having transport issues.

Cambridge I would struggle with, as I'm a full time carer and being away from home for long periods isn't generally an option, I'd give it a try though!
