His thin lithe form reaching just shy of six feet. His skin is a deathly pale white. Long midnight blue hair is slicked back into a tight pony tail stretching midway down his back. Oversized eyes void of pupils almost glow with a milky white emotionless stare. A long deep scar stretches from his hairline across his left eye and down to his chin. High cheekbones and strong angled jaw line lead down to a slightly pointed chin, giving his whole face a triangular appearance. Long thin lips seem to be twisted into a permanently mocking half smirk.
I should have made the lips longer and thinner in the picture but was trying for the trollish look

What program do you use, just out of curiosity?

Using wacom stylus, zbrush, maya, photoshop
Total time: About 2 1/2 hours
Zbrush for the base molding (20 minutes)
Maya for the polygon cleanup (15 minutes)
Zbrush to add skin textures (30 minutes)
Painted a base skin in Photoshop (10 minutes)
Zbrush for all the final individual area skin coloring (60 minutes, longest part is hand painting it so colors look natural and don't look 'flat' or 'projected as an overlay' lots and lots of color layering. You could spend days on this step and it wouldn't be wasted time)
Photoshop for the final 2D image, brightness contrast, color burn layer (15 minutes)

This is awesome!
You work quickly too. Took me several days to come up with a rough model for my ship and it's still untextured thanks to the weird UV mapping thing

Hand painting within zbrush will give you a better overall effect then UV mapping.

Not that anyone would want to encourage me to create any more art, but I was wondering if you could pm some info to me about the post modeling phase of 3-D creation. It's a concept that's entirely escaping me. The molding and sculpting elements of Zbrush are 2nd nature, but beyond that I'm a bit lost. As I've finally found another zbrush user I'd be eager for your input.
Cheers,

To all those who asked yes I was serious I'm making the full model but it will take quite awhile, maybe an artisanal entry if I can finish before the month is out. I do have early sketches though I didnt like where the fullplate in this one was going so I started a new one.

There's something about it that bothers me, and I'm not sure what. The head looks too big for the body, or the neck is too short...something is a little off to me. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished product, since maybe more detail on everything will help to even out the proportions for me.
But it is still crazy-go-nuts awesome. Cheers, Zulah.

That would definitely piss me off enough to become a lawless pirate.
Still, that's a sure damper on the whole 'wenches' part of the job.

I agree in the first one they are all off it was the base model i made to build off, on the second one he has 2 sets on kneecaps and the suit looks more space then midevil. I hadn't looked over the equipment enough in game yet for the details. These are also quick single molds. The final each item will have its own model separate from the others, all attached together. Final product will be about a month or under depending how busy I am.
Also, the belt was supposed to be a hunters belt artifact (I didn't know what one looked like when I started, I do now) so I was making it big, rest assured I'll make the belt smaller. Bring forth the wenches!

Last one for now. Still in very rough shape just trying to find a good looking direction for the base fullplate. I'll save showing it again for when its all done.

The arms are slightly too short (stand and hold your hands out like he is - even fisted, hands come close to the middle of the thigh. Mirrors are great for slight issues with length of one body part to another), as is the neck (this part is only slightly too short, not as noticeable). Otherwise it's quite good!

Of course you had to go from the chastity belt to showing off the bulge.

Are you going to make an action figure with this? Cuz that would be freakin cool.
P.S.- Fullplate gauntlets have no fingers?

What part of not finished is unclear to you?

The hands have no fingers because I don't wear those gauntlets in game. I wear a three clawed gauntlet from the ocean. And a falconry glove. Like I said these are just very basic base models. Most of the these things will actually get covered with the accessories. I'm actually thinking of doing two separate versions. One for the Laid back Serpent Zulah smoking a cigar and one for the Runewarden Zulah leaping through the air with a DSL or RSL. No matter what class Zulah is currently I always think of him as a Serpent and he always goes back to serpent (Class changed TO serpent four times now). Runewarden is just temporary. The final product will be the model with removable accessories (Arty wings, pack, jacket, top hat, weapons, falcon etc) I'm also designing a base stand for him with a Zulah nameplate. If it comes out good enough yes I might dish out some bucks and have the mold fabricated so I can have my own Zulah action figurine to go with my other Todd Mcfarline ones. Then the hardest part would be I have to hand paint the model, but worth it in the long run.
