My lords and masters, the good people at the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, are sending me to Brisbane for ONE NIGHT ONLY on the 27th of March.

This means the time has come to drink and be merry in your city. So I figure we catch up, accept the fact that you're not going to play Achaea for one evening and visit some of your city's most credible establishments.

As a Melbournite myself, I have a pretty high standard when it comes to bars. I'm staying at the Chifley so anywhere around there (I think that's in your CBD? Do you -have- a CBD?) is cool with me.

So! Who's in and who has some suggestions for places to go that evening?

Isn't Canada a member of the Commonwealth of Nations? So in fact, he's not actually a guest of the Commonwealth. Unless, of course, you were refering to the Commonwealth of Australia
