It's -sort- of Achaean.
Okay, it involves a rift. And a purple hat that reminded me of the cats in Bopalopia. It was made for a laugh, but taking out the funny stuff, I think he'd be a good candidate for the competitions in Achaea. Anyway, enjoy!
-------------------------------------------------------
A cold wind swept through the trees bringing his scent to me, my blood was hot as I pursued my prey, I knew he couldn't withstand the cold much longer, and I was getting closer every minute.
I slowed down a little, the cold didn't bother me and I knew I could take my time. A shadow was up ahead, my prey was leaning against a tree, having thought he had lost me. I crept up slowly, knowing he couldn't escape even if he saw me. Finally, he spotted my shadow and screamed, "No, no! Spare me! I have a family!" I felt a twinge of pity, but I knew what I had to do. I had no choice, so I stepped into the light. "You're a…a duck?" He said, a final look of confusion on his face as I leap for his throat, "QUAACKQUAACKQUACKQUAAAAAAAAACCCKKK" I screamed, tearing into his arteries, blood staining the snow around us.
Immediately I felt the change, feathers started melting off me as my bill cracked and fell to the ground, I sprouted up, my bones cracking and shifting as my legs grew, my webbed feet shrinking back as toes formed. I flapped my wings hard to stop from falling over, but as they shrunk I toppled face first into the snow.
"Gleeeheheeeee! You got your face wet!"
The voice was annoying, like a thousand birds shrieking at once.
"I hate you, Tom." I said, getting to my feet and straightening myself out. The night was a lot darker than I had thought, my keen duck senses rapidly leaving me. "Where are you, then?" I wondered aloud, peering into the forest around me.
"Heeheheeeeeeheeeeeere I am!" The voice came from the body, teeth clanking together as the mouth opened and closed wildly.
"That's disgusting." I said as a figure crept out of the mouth, no more than three inches tall with firey red hair, dressed all in green.
"Gleeeheeee I gots another mission for you Miss Tabitha!"
Tabitha. I hated the name, which is why he was using it. Nobody but my mother called me Tabitha.
"Not today!" I screamed, as I pulled my magical purple top hat from my rift, putting it on my head.
I turned into a dragon.

Well, okay! *eye*
I was bored at work, and my brother sent me a email saying, "Quick, write me a story involving Lycanthropy of any kind, a leprechaun named Tom, and a magic purple top hat."
I didn't want to write one of those boring, "Once upon a time there was a Leprechaun named Tom" Kind of things, so I tried something that'd be completely different to what he expected.
It is, of course, the first time I've tried writing anything about anything, and I can't help but think it sucks every time I read it, but hey, apparently Alak likes it.

You know, I might enter this into this months bardics.
I mean, I'd have to win, right?
Edit: Done, expect to see me winning at the next announce post.

Haha, I don't believe he actually submitted it. Though, he's obviously not serious with that story, and he'll do anything for a laugh.

She means she can't believe I actually submitted it, not that she doesn't, because she saw me submit it.

How could they - it up? they casted Keanu Reeves and Josh Hartnett to play the Mcmanus brothers, Sean Connery is to play Ill Duce

That would greatly - it up

It's quite sad that Willem Dafoe won't be in it though. Apparently too busy filming other stuff.

Man, the Boondock Saints sequel has been so delayed in actually arriving, I'll believe it when I see it.
And then I'll probably wish they hadn't made a sequel.

Duke Nukem Forever syndrome?
Or Starcraft Ghost.

In fact, any one of these:

The IMDB page was updated on Dec. 22, 2008, saying that the movie had moved from the 'production' phase to 'post production'. If it's ever going to come out, I expect it will be sometime this year.
Echoing others, I'm cautiously looking forward to it. The story would be a fun one to continue, but I was fine with it being a cult classic out of mainstream Hollywood's focus.

Cancelled as in, "Hey guys, we're done, and never touching this again." ?
If that's the case, they should just release what they've got online and say, 'beware!'
If it's not, then they'll probably pick it up some time, and then it goes from cancelled to uncancelled.

As in, they're doing Starcraft II instead.
