I know that its a long ways away but is there a meet planned for the Queensland Aussie area in the April-July timeframe? I planned on taking leave around that time and in that area. (Me doing what I do in the Army I need to do all kinds of stuff before I can go to another country while on leave, I need to start making plans now) I know a bunch of people live in Australia....

Like to narrow it down to where abouts in Queensland.

Not sure hence why I'm asking If there's nothing planned I was just gonna take my leave and go backpacking with a buddy in the outback

What are you wanting to do, what do you enjoy doing.

For surf/beaches Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast areas, Brisbane (where most of us who live in qld are from), way up north you have the great barrier reef and some great islands and then you have out west the hinterlands, dams, mining towns (more northwest), and hundreds of km's of empty space

Kaliya, Nat, Trance, Relgar (doesn't play so often anymore) myself, Skye.. not sure who else is from Brisbane, but I know a few people from surrounding areas, and we could totally plan something around that time. It doesn't take much at all to organise cos we all have each other's phone numbers pretty much . There is a few touristy things to do here as well, so I'm sure we can find a few things to do.

Depending on the work situation, I may even be up there for work. Won't rightly know until I get back there and view the calendar

I may be in QLD for Easter. I will not admit this, though, because of what happened last time.

I'd try to avoid religous holidays, lower ranking people never get them included in leave, all the officers want them. Plus, I'm kinda the head Pagan in the company, we got a holiday around that time too.

I don't give a damn what religion it is. If there is a holiday up for grabs I'm taking it.
