The Mark picture looks like Darth Nihilus from KOTOR II, but I can still see him as a Quisalis taskmaster

Good drawings. I'm not a good artist at all, but let me try to give advice.

Jester: It's pretty good, nothing to really comment on here. Maybe give the pupils a color?

Gargoyle: It's arms look like they're melting, which makes the rest of it look kinda funny, to me. Otherwise, yet another good picture.

Mark: It's ok, but what is it a mark of? Just a random mark? Mark of the Quisalis? Ivory? A God? I hate not knowing what it's a mark of...

Angel: I like that you got away from the "Grim reaper" steriotype, but I don't think a hood's the way to go. I understand that it's supposed to be an executioner's hood, right? Also, he really just looks like a farmer in a hood with robes, wouldn't ever think "Oh crap, there's the Angel of death, run!", I'd think "Oh, it's just another guy from a cult". I suggest getting away from the robes in general.

Well the Mark woud be Quilsalis, with a deathmask on. Have some other one's around here somewhere, have to find them. Thanks for the replies though.

I still can't understand the Mark one, but it's a neat thing. I just can't visually picture it.

The hand for the jester (the closest one) is really awesome, I like it mostly because I suck at hands.

Random info about the "hood", although it looks kkk they actually stole the stylings from Christianity as it was originally and is still used for Catholic (?I believe? I know it's in Spain) ceremonies and was taken from that. it's sad that it has such a negative connotation now-a-days

That's really dependent on who you ask... it's also an understatement. I can't think of a word worse that negative, but seriously... understatement.


Now, to keep from straying too far, it would be nice if the jester was holding Tarot Cards... Priestess, Magician and Fool, anyone?

Did you actually draw these? That is Darth Nihilus. Don't lie. I changed my mind. I'm not going to be optimistic. You didn't draw these. None of these have any real connection to Achaea and ffs one of them is -ing Darth Nihilus.

Umm.....yes, I did draw these. These were for an art class I had in college and thought some of them would be appliable like the gargoyle and the jester. Try not to be such a complete bitch all the time Rynn.

All the same Kresslack, trying to pass off Nihilus as original work is kind of lame. Not that it's a bad drawing or anything, just call it like it is. Don't leave out a few details and call it a Quisalis member :/

Who was it that did that crap earlier, where he hardly doctored a picture and called it original?

I don't know but those are my works of art. It was for Illustration and Design in college. The Darth picture is, in my mind, what I would expect a Q-Mark to look like. -shrug-

Nylan. What Kresslack did here is take something he drew for a class without Achaea on the mind (probably) and then post it here saying "Tada! Look what I drew for Achaea!"

I was trying to implement them into Achaea. Learn to read between the lines.

That sounds mildly uncomfortable. Unlike the one I already have, which, honestly, was sort of pleasant to get.





To be on-topic:

The gargoyle picture is my favorite of the four. The Angel of Death one is too much like a KKK member (being from Arkansas, let me tell you, I know about KKK members, mmk?*). I understand that's not what you were going for, but what is important is that, unfortunately, that is what comes across, so you should work on that a bit more if that's not what you want to convey with your picture. The Jester one I think needs a lot of work. Maybe it's just the shoddy colouring or the lines on the nose that intersect each other and look as if some of them need to be erased. I can't really comment on what everyone is saying about the Mark one. I do agree with what Trey said, though, that if you based it on something, say so. That's fine. Just don't try to pass if off as something else.

Of course, I'm not an artist. I think it's fair you know that before you take anything I say about your work too much to heart.





*This is, of course, a joke. We do have the KKK here, though.
