I hate to admit it, but fear-running (when you actually moved a room) should stop deliverance.

Generally with bards, I try deliverance a few times, then heartstop out of pissyness if it doesn't work.

There aren't very many worthwhile bards. Griffel was the only bard I fought that I never beat. He wanted it to be somewhat fair too, so he only went with mounted. I couldn't imagine what would've happened if he had turned on drunkensailor and acrobatics, I don't think I'd have ever hit him.

If you are going to try deliverance on a bard, watch out for masochism. I got Ivaldir with it once, and about 2 seconds later I killed myself with deliverance.

It was silly of me to fall for it. I really wanted to fight Spire! I should have stuck to the plan. They Deliverance, I Percussia until contradanse starts afflicting them. I did learn one good thing from this log, and I will remember the Masochism trick! I look forward to round 2!

Does that one harmonic that does damage (bagatelle?) still trigger deliverance?

I imagine Bagatelle used to do damage in addition/instead of the hearing restore it does now. I do not believe any of the harmonics do any actually damage. Even Funeral Mass (wouldn't 4 combat bards be fun) does not do damage, just keels you.
