So I had some callers over last night to play Starcraft and Diablo 2 over LAN for a while. Everything was going well until I decided to show them Fantastic Contraption before they left. My computer froze for some reason and I had to reboot. Well under normal circumstances I keep about 20 browser tabs open, and this day was no exception. Unfortunately, somewhere among the pages was the link to the Tenerap that Hieyoko posted. My speakers were turned up, and the song came on. I didn't want to close out all of Firefox because we were playing Fantastic Contraption, but I did want to turn off Tene's page if I could find it... as the visitors started to raise their eyebrows I attempted to sidescroll through the links, accidentally clicking on the Achaea home page tab instead and finally getting frustrated. I reached forward to just manually turn off the dial on my speaker but only succeeded in knocking it to the ground.
As the sound of "Thief, thief, baby" wafted up from below, I mashed the mute button on my keyboard instead. (a move I should have done first) As everyone was giving me such an odd and amused look, I explained sheepishly, "That's... that's Teneb...rus." Immediately I realized my mistake (and anybody who's seen Tene's comment page lately can attest)
"Tenebrus? Your paladin?" Thoroughly embarrassed at this point, all I can add is "from Achaea" With a sad shake of their heads, they denounce the soundtrack to this game Achaea I always talk about, and told me to find new hobbies.
