I'll be in England being bored and with enough time to save up a little for a little Achaean meet.
Who's up for it? I'm fine with more Essex/Suffolk Locations, but willing to travel, i'll drag along some others too!
Discuss.

Hmm, wasn't there some other England meet floating around happening sometime soon? I can't really recall, and the topics gone from the page for now.
That said, if I have the time/money/inclination I might be able to pop down.

I'm up for a '09 meet in England, though!

Is this still going to happen? I'd definitely be up for a Cambridge meet sometime between the 1st and 11th December. Possible options include:
- Going for a curry (spicy)
- Going winter punting (freezy)
- Frisbee on Jesus Green (muddy)
- Fitzwilliam Museum/Botanical Gardens (geeky)
- Going to a pub/coffee-selling establishment (lazy)
Who's with me?!
Zintha
Nov 16 2008, 11:19 PM
Lazy sounds good, not sure if I can make it that early but if others are up for it then i'm fine with trying to pull some strings.

Of all the places in Cambridge you pick? Got to be a pub, come into the Cricketers one evening and I'll give you a game of pool

Otherwise I can mention, oo, about 300 we could go to

Ergo, we now require a more precisely defined date. Accordingly, I propose Sunday 7th December. (Or we could wait and see when Zintha can be here).

Get it close to stoke on trent a.k.a chav central. I'd be interested if I'm not working/have plans. Which leaves a few hours in a morning.

Would love to go to England in January. Last London meet was great fun. And also good because of the cheap flights. Cambridge would interest me as well, never been. Maybe we can even convince the Duckerator to come over from Ireland.
Cooper, Dethea, are you guys still scheduled for Jan?

You bet

I was first thinking of spending New Year's in England, but now it looks like I'll be hanging out with some workmates who are here over New Year's... trip in January would be a very real possibility though.
