Post 'em?
I'm curious! Naturally, I've probed a fair few of the costumes in the holiday annex, but not all of them.. there were so many! Plus, I'm curious as to what other costumes were submitted but didn't place.
I'll start with mine.
The original for the Euterpe costume (they seem to have changed a few things in various costumes):
QUOTE
a costume of Euterpe, spirit of the Northreach
Her insanity too much to handle, a costume of Euterpe has been discarded here.
Simultaneously dark but ghostly, this costume portrays the unstable spirit of the Northreach, Euterpe. With skin paler than any mortal's, Euterpe is covered only by a billowing cloth of dark grey that wraps loosely about her form. From underneath the material, layers of silver gauze trail across her foot and over the ground like mist, complimenting the cloud of material twined about her figure. While crimson dye has been used to draw nearly a dozen faded scratch marks across her cheeks, a wig of long black hair completes the costume. Wild and untamed, the black hair appears to have nearly been torn from her scalp in some places, a sign of the spirit's abnormal behavior.
Slipping into the embrace of a costume of Euterpe, you fight down the urge to babble incoherently as a dark laugh bubbles up from between your lips and your hands twitch with the want to claw at something.
Her babbling finally too much, you remove a costume of Euterpe. Despite having escaped her insane and self-destructive tendencies, a prickling urge to return to the spirit's secure embrace tugs at the back of your mind.
And the original of the corrupted golem costume, which I know they changed a few things in:
QUOTE
a costume of a corrupted earth golem
Gathered up in a crumpled heap, what appears to be a dried pool of blood-covered mud rests haphazardly here.
Crafted from thick, course cloth of a grey colour, this costume depicts what appears to be a mighty earth golem gone wrong. Adding to the authenticity of the portrayal, various kinds of mud have been smeared and allowed to dry across the grey material. Several splashes of dark crimson dye here and there suggest that this corrupted golem has found more than one victim. Inappropriately proportioned with the help of sturdy padding, the golem's shoulders are far too wide and arms far too thick, offsetting the creature's head as seemingly small in comparison. Eyes of a netted, semi-transparent material are set as if stuck in mid-twitch, while the golem's mouth is frozen in a violent, bloodthirsty snarl.
As you slip into a costume of a corrupted earth golem, a simplistic bloodlust spreads throughout your mind, replacing rational thought with the basic need to survive at all costs.
Removing a costume of a corrupted earth golem, you shake your head clear of the primitive bloodlust that preoccupied your thoughts moments before.

Costume I submitted that got chosen. Not the one I expected to win but still cute. (Devoted to Laras, of course!)
P.S : The Last few lines of the description are my favourite of all the costumes I entered.
QUOTE
a paradise bird costume.
Coloured feathers sparkling, a paradise bird costume lies here forgotten.
Boasting a dazzling array of colour, this paradise bird costume is clearly for those who want to dress to impress. A tight-fitting suit of blue has been covered in huge feathers dyed every colour of the rainbow with the largest and most ravishing feathers located on the arms of the costume, giving the illusion of wings. A large yellow beak has been connected to mask, showing all exactly what this costume is meant to mimic while a pair of scaled claws help finish off the costume. As a final touch, a jewelled collar with a small tag has been added to be placed around the neck of the wearer. Engraved upon the tag of the collar are the words, "Please do NOT attack me. I am protected by the city of Shallam and her laws."
You pull the stretchy fabric of a paradise bird costume over your body and feel an urge to shake your tailfeathers.
With a soft sigh and smile, you remove a paradise bird costume whilst thinking many happy Mayaween thoughts.

an Enheduanna costume
Assume the terrible visage of Enheduanna with these pastel robes of violet and
jade. Woven of the finest silk, the costume is tailored and padded to bestow the
wearer with a shapely feminine figure, accented by a small belt of blackened
steel chains to cinch tight the waist. Accompanying the elegant robes, a pale
ivory mask and a styled crimson wig complete the ensemble. Carved to resemble
the aristocratic lines of her face, the hauteur and insanity of the Aldar maiden
is exquisitely captured within the mask. The wig is crafted of fine, fiery silk
ribbons attached to thin iron wires, creating the illusion of dancing flames
when worn.
An eerie face stares up from the folds of a discarded costume of Enheduanna.
You are now wearing an Enheduanna costume.
A surge of insane rage leavened with primal joy courses through you as you slide into an Enheduanna costume. You cannot help but laugh as the pleasant thought of wanton destruction fills your mind.

a furry tengu costume
Feathered wings extend from the back of this furry tengu costume, carelessly discarded.
Long and form fitting, careful tailoring has pieced together swatches of leather to create a catsuit with a matching headband of fuzzy pointed ears. The soft suede has been cured and dyed a matte black, meant to modestly cover the body yet help create the illusion of a feline form. Cuffing the wrists and ankles of the suit are bands of actual fur, left long and fluffy to frame the intended contrast of bare hands and feet. Larger sections have been tailored into even more specific shapes, with the same material set into a collar to allow a fur covered chest and attached to a belt to form the required tail. Rising from the back of the costume is a small set of outstretched wings, the dark colour of raven feathers melding seamlessly into the costume’s design.

I've always been of a policy of aspiring towards a standard of cold but polite, regardless of someone's status as an enemy. Unfortunately, some individuals jump outright towards rudeness and then relatively peaceful civility has to be swept out with the day's dirt.
I still wish to know who crafted the selkie costume. They've always been some of my favourites but it makes little sense to linger around them, all things in role considered.

QUOTE
APPEARANCE: a guardian angel costume
DROPPED: A costume depicting a guardian angel has been forsaken here, shimmering softly in the light.
EXAMINED: Although a feeble comparison to the beauty of an actual angel, this costume manages to capture a small portion of their grace. The majority of this piece is the flowing white gown, which has been meticulously sewn from the purest of silks. Such is the sheen of this item that when the light catches its folds, it appears to glow with an alabaster brilliance. Even the translucent gemstones attached to the hems seem dull in contrast. Affixed to the back are a pair of wings, which appear to flutter slowly on their own accord. Equally as curious is the golden halo - polished to a high lustre - which hovers just over where the wearer's head would be placed.
APPEARANCE: a suicide mouse costume
DROPPED: Looking woefully misshapen without its wearer, a suicide mouse costume sits here awaiting mischief.
EXAMINED: Tailored from a light grey fabric, this costume is worn as a full body suit and is even padded so that the wearer appears to look like a mouse rearing on its back legs. A long pink tail dangles out of the back of the suit, while a hood - complete with sewn ears - has been attached to the neck. Upon the back of the suit rests an oversized black bomb made of paper-mache and tied with looped rope, the fuse of which sparkles and glows as if alight. A wooden mask which has been painted with whiskers and a mouse face is included, along with a natty royal blue waistcoat and matching beret to complete the ensemble.
APPEARANCE: a balloon giraffe costume
DROPPED: In danger of being popped, a costume tied from red balloons floats here.
EXAMINED: Tied with the flair of a true Jester, this costume attempt to mimic the mounts used by the Carnivalis Institute. The balloons used are as bright and cheery as the harlequins who use them, and form the familiar shape of a giraffe. This costume is made of two separate pieces, the first being the creature's head and neck, which stretches forth from a balloon ring to be worn upon one's brow. A saucy grin and cheeky eyes have been drawn on in black ink, only furthering the brazen nature of the costume. The second piece comprises of the body and legs, which are designed to be worn about the waist so that they wiggle back and forth when the wearer moves. Matching red leather suspenders have been loosely attached to the frame, preventing it from slipping off from the wearer's body.
I'd like to know who made the totem/vial costumes. I lol'd. I was also surprised to see a lack of Delphinius in the winners list

Well I did an elemental minions set, which I liked:
QUOTE
APPEARANCE: an efreeti costume
DROPPED: A blaze of colour, a costume mimicking an efreeti lies here.
EXAMINED: Sewn out of a deep crimson silk, this long sleeved costume is both bright and eye catching. Affixed in an irregular pattern are numerous pieces of silk in the shape of tongues of elemental Fire. The dazzling attachments range in colour from rich scarlets to burnished oranges and iridescent yellows, which ripple as the wearer moves to create the illusion that they are ablaze.
APPEARANCE: a waterweird costume
DROPPED: A mass of flowing blue silk, a waterweird costume lies shapelessly here
EXAMINED: This silken costume attempts to imitates the flowing movement of elemental Water embodied by the waterweird. The main piece is coloured a gentle turquoise, however strips of silk in hues ranging from white to deep navy adorn the arms and back, creating a soothing rustle as they rub against each other.
APPEARANCE: an aerial costume
DROPPED: Light and airy, an aerial costume has been left on the ground here.
EXAMINED: Made from a lightly woven white material reminiscent of a veil, this costume lacks a definitive shape. Like the elemental Air it mimics, the suit appears to almost waft about the wearer's person as a formless cloud. Included with the piece are a pair of white silk streamers which can be attached loosely to each wrist, catching the air as one walks.
APPEARANCE: a sandling costume
DROPPED: Covered in earth, a costume depicting a sandling sits here.
EXAMINED: A surprisingly heavy piece, this costume has a basic garment sewn of a thick brown cotton. The unique aspect however is that all matter of organic debris, such as dirt, sand, tree roots and dead leaves have been affixed to the surface of the costume, creating the illusion that one is made of Earth. The quality of this garment is so high that even vigorous shaking fails to budge any amount of the matter attached to it.
and then these other two, looking back now, were my least favourite
QUOTE
APPEARANCE: a Mhojave falcon costume
DROPPED: A tangled mass of feathers, a falcon costume has been left here
EXAMINED: Sewn from a fabric dyed in earthy tones of brown and orange this costume completely hides the body of the wearer, excluding the face. By some unknown tailoring method hundreds of feathers of matching hues have been attached to the entirety of the suit. The overall effect is quite convincing. The feet of the piece are coloured the burnt orange of the setting Mhojave sun, and padded to look like falcon talons. A mask in the shape of a sharp beak is included in the costume and by some unknown enchantment emits a falcon cry periodically.
APPEARANCE: a rattlesnake costume
DROPPED: Uncanny in its similarity to a giant snakeskin, a rattlesnake costume lies here.
EXAMINED: Expertly fashioned from a thin leather dyed to shades of grey and brown, this rattlesnake costume has four holes subtly cut out of it to allow for the legs and arms of the wearer. The leather used in the construction matches the scaly snakeskin effortlessly, and is cool to the touch. Complete with its own rattle which sounds as it moves the suit continues behind the wearer, dragging along on the ground. A pair of imitation snake fangs are included with the outfit, although the overall aesthetic is quite comical and not at all threatening.

I submitted a totem, but I think many individuals did so. It was a little joke deemed more appropriate than a costume of an altar boy.
QUOTE
appearance: a runic totem costume
dropped: Tossed aside is a costume of wood and leather, only vaguely resembling a runic totem.
examined: Thick strips of leather wind between a wide tube of long wood panels, forming the familiar if unusually large shape of a typical runic totem. Padded straps extend from the top, holding up the otherwise awkwardly long costume without the potential to chafe the shoulders. While the arms are left free by the design, the legs are covered to promote the proper image of rigidity, albeit leaving it awkward to move. An additional helmet is included to cover the head and part of the torso, lacing up along the seams to form a single suit. A circle outlined in silver has been carved to the helmet to allow proper vision. Mostly unadorned, the entire surface of the costume has been smoothed and cleaned, five additional circles of metal etched into the body, clearly defining the set space of six open to be runed for the sake of protection.

a Foozlebox costume
Resembling an oversized Foozlebox, four painted canvas panels are affixed to cuboid frame.
Several thin wooden slats, glued and nailed together, form the shape of a cube which acts as the frame of this costume. A pair of cloth strips secured to the upper edge of the oaken frame are able to hang across the shoulders, holding the costume up around the torso of whoever may be wearing it. Painted canvas panels nailed to four of the six sides bear illustrations of the many buttons, lights and dials of a Foozlebox. In place of a standard Foozle card, one of the costume's canvas panels lists some of the items to be located as "a good time", "one drink too many", "Slith", and "Sapience's best kisser". Inside the costume, which is relatively comfortable and sanded free of splinters, an array of instruments from bells and buzzers to a slide-whistle hang from the frame, waiting to be used to imitate the many strange noises of a Foozlebox.
I originally had it as "hot lips", but went with "Sapience's best kisser" instead.
QUOTE
a Spawn of the Unnamable costume
A heap of coloured material, springs, buckles and beads is tangled on the ground.
Numerous buckles and leather straps support the many elements of this complex, unwieldly outfit. Of all different sizes and colours, from pastel green to dashing marigold and an oily indigo, artfully formed flaps and balloons of delicate gossamer material hang from the costume. Catching the slightest breeze or motion, the material buoyantly billows and slowly deflates, mimicking the oozing, sloshing movement of a being of Chaos. Metal springs of varying lengths affixed to all parts of the costume support coloured glass baubles and beads, some with circular markings and others elliptical, resembling the undulating, bobbing eyes of a dozen beasts of species all unknown. A significant element of the costume are a number of jangling chimes, rattles, a small, wheezing accordion, and a bulbous instrument that emits shrieking squeaks with every significant movement. All concealed from view, they together create a cacophony of dissonant noise. While the costume is somewhat uncomfortable to wear, with its many trailing pieces easy to trip over, the overall effect is a whirling kaleidoscope of colour, motion, shape and sound.

I'm a horrible designer, but here goes.
Short: A librarian costume
Dropped: A librarian costume is here.
Extended:
A crisp black blouse and skirt compose this simple, traditional outfit for your every day librarian. Made of cotton, it is very modest and perfect for working long hours among the books. A pair of thin glasses it attached to the blouse by a string, so that they aren't easily lost. Shiny black heels complete this costume.
Upon Wearing:
As you wear a librarian costume, you feel the urge to shush those around you.
3rd Person:
As (person) puts on a librarian costume, he/she puts their finger to their lips and glares at those around him/her.
Short: A wicked witch costume
Dropped: A repulsive wicked witch costume is here.
Extended:
Ragged robes compose the majority of this costume as the wind themselves around the body. An ugly mask is displayed here, having a long bulbous nose with warts and a greenish tinge. A large hole-filled hat can be seen sitting upon the head of the wearer. A battered magic wand is poking out of a pocket in the robes.
Vampire
Short: A vampire costume
Dropped: A vampire costume lies here, thrown away.
Extended:
Gray leather is the main component of this costume, wrapping the form in
a sheathe of pale skin of the Undead. The skin appears ragged to the eye
as it covers well-defined muscles from head to toe. Upon glancing at the
mask of this costume, yellow eyes that seem to reflect the light stand
out in stark contrast against the paleness of the rest of the outfit.
Large fangs can be seen hanging from the sneering mouth, ready to suck
the blood out of the next helpless victim.
Upon wearing:
Upon donning this tight costume, you feel a desire for blood overwhelm
your senses as you embrace the mannerisms of a vampire.
3rd Person:
You see (person) don a vampire costume and are horrified as his/her face
contorts in a desire for blood.
Cyclops
Short: A Cyclops costume
Dropped: A Cyclops costume lies here, menacing no more.
Extended:
A large, glaring eye dominates the features of this costume, seeming to
pierce all who are caught within its gaze. Moving your gaze farther
down, skintight leather is artfully crafted to resemble thick skin over
rippling muscles. Upon this skin, numerous battle scars are etched, a
testament to the true ferocity of the Cyclops. An animal skin of some
sort has been crafted into a loincloth that covers the lower regions of
the costume. Large hands are distinctly featured gripped around a
gigantic club, the weapon of choice for a Cyclops.
Upon Wearing:
As you slip into the Cyclops costume, you feel an urge to smash
something as you raise your wooden club menacingly.
3rd Person:
As you watch (person) don their Cyclops costume, you shrink back as
he/she swings about their club recklessly.
Cultist
Short: A cultist costume
Dropped: Lying here, a cultist costume conceals no one anymore.
Extended:
A large, abaddon cloak envelops the body of the wearer of this costume
making it impossible to discern their identity. However, sinister red
eyes can be seen peeking out from under a drawn down hood. Upon closer
examination, a knife bearing a bleach-boned handle can be
seen occasionally poking out from a slit in the robe made for easy
access.
Upon Wearing:
As you pull this costume on over yourself, a ritualistic fervor
overcomes you and you can't help but obey.
3rd Person:
As (Person) pulls on a cultist costume, their features become
indiscernible and their eyes begin to glow a sinister shade of red.
Hycanthus
Short: A Hycanthus costume
Dropped: A Hycanthus costume lies here.
Extended:
Unremarkable grey robes wrap themselves about the wearer in a simplistic
manner for this costume. The mask that completely encompasses the head
of this wearer bears a long mass of hair that has been poorly cared for,
evidenced by the knots and tangles within. A shabby coloured beard of
matching colour sprouts from the chin of this mask.
Upon Wearing:
You feel yourself become in-tune with the elemental energies as you don
a Hycanthus costume.
3rd Person
(Person) seems to glow with elemental energies as they don a Hycanthus
costume.
Ninja
Short: A ninja costume
Dropped: A ninja outfit lies here

Black tights encompass the wearer, allowing for stealth and ease of
movement. Over these, a dark vest can be seen. The pockets of the vest

bandana is draped across the wearer's face to avoid giving away his/her
identity.
Upon Wearing:
You feel yourself fade into the darkness as you wear a ninja costume.
3rd Person:
As (Person) begins to wear a ninja outfit, he/she fades until you barely notice him/her.
Fortune Teller
Short: A fortune teller costume
Dropped: A fortune teller costume lies here.
Extended:
Opulent silk robes embrace the form of the wearer in this costume. These
robes are covered in mystic designs that are only decipherable by
someone schooled in the art of Divination. Upon the head of the wearer,
a large silk is wrapped comfortably.
Upon Wearing:
A sense of clairvoyance descends upon you as you slip into the fortune
teller costume.
3rd Person
A look of distant sight flashes across the face of (Person) as he/she
wears a fortune teller costume.
Nun
Short: A nun costume
Dropped: A nun costume lies here.
A simple black robe dominates the figure of this costume. Embroidered in
white just below the neckline of the robe, a Divine symbol stands out
against the dark folds of the robe. Upon the head of the nun, a hood
rests hiding the hair underneath.
Upon Wearing:
A pious feeling overwhelms you as you don a simple nun costume.
3rd Person
As you watch (Person) wear a nun costume, a look of devotion flickers
over his/her face.
Clown
Short: A clown costume
Dropped: A ridiculous clown costume lies here.
Extended:
A jaunty one-piece suit of every colour covers the form of the clown,
shocking the eyes with its audacity. A unique hat with three split
stalks drapes from the head of the wearer. At the end of each stalk, a
small bell is attached that jingles at the slightest movement.

(Person) gives an audible laugh as he/she slides into a clown costume.
Chef
Short: A chef costume
Dropped: A chef costume is here, pristine no more.

A spotless white tunic and pair of pants make up this costume. The tunic
is covered in an apron, to avoid spilling food upon the pristine
clothes. A large fluffy hat protrudes from the head of the wearer,
symbolizing their profession.
Upon Wearing:
As you place the chef's hat on your head, you feel like creating a
culinary masterpiece.
3rd Person:
As a chef's hat touches (Person's) head, he/she begins to look about for
food to prepare.
Butterfly
Short: A butterfly costume
Dropped: A butterfly costume lies here, the wings fluttering no more
Extended:
Large gossamer wings have been crafted and attached to a harness to wrap
around the form of the wearer. These wings are nearly opaque and flutter
in the slightest of breezes. Sticking up between these magnificent
wings, a set of feelers attached to a circlet accent the costume.
Upon Wearing:
Your soul seems to flutter as you slip a pair of butterfly wings on.
3rd Person
As (Person) wraps themselves in a set of butterfly wings, the wings seem
to flutter slightly.
Dominatrix
Short: A dominatrix costume
Dropped: A dominatrix costume is on the ground, imposing no more.
Extended:
Tight black leather hugs the body like a second skin in the sensuous
dominatrix costume. The costume consists of a blouse that has been cut
in several places to expose tantalizing pieces of skin and a pair of
trousers that show off the feminine curves. A small weapon-loop attached
to the side of the pants holds a whip, ready to be used to dominate the
next victim.
Upon Wearing:
As you struggle into a tight dominatrix costume, you feel commanding and
imposing.
3rd Person:
Struggling into a tight dominatrix outfit, (Person) adopts a look of
dominance.
Witch Doctor
Short: A witch doctor costume.
Dropped: A Witch doctor costume lies here.
Extended:
This costume is very eye-catching as it is covered in bones. Rib bones of a long extinct animal wrap around the torso, nearly obscuring the ragged tunic underneath. Bones attached to strings hang from the kilt of this costume, making a hollow knocking sound upon contact. The mask of this costume consists of a large animal skull with twin horns poking out of the top.
Upon Wearing:
As you slip the final pieces of a witch doctor costume on, you feel like cursing someone nearby.
3rd Person:
As (Person) slips the witchdoctor mask over his.her head and immediately begins to speak gibberish to the person nearest to him.her.
Caveman
Short: A caveman costume
Dropped: A caveman costume lies here.
Extended:
This outfit has been fashioned to resemble the caveman of long ago. Across the chest, an animal-skin toga is stretched, looping over the shoulder. A messy wig has been thrown on, emphasizing the primitive nature of the caveman. In one hand, a large club made of animal bone serves as the caveman's weapon.
Upon Wearing:
You feel yourself become more primitive as you wear a caveman costume.
3rd Person
(Person) bangs his/her club on the ground and shouts "OOGA BOOGA" after he/she slips into a caveman costume.
Short: A super-hero costume

Upon the head of the wearer, a mask covers the eyes and nose to conceal the true identity of the wearer. A long, billowing cape stretches out behind the attire.
Upon Wearing:
You flex your muscles and do your signature pose as you swell with heroic power upon wearing a super-hero costume.
3rd Person
As (Person) slips on a super-hero costume, he/she shows off their impressive muscles before going into a comic action pose.

The original's for the Selkie and Penelope costumes. I submitted a couple of others for fun, the penelope one is actually the only one I was really hoping would win.
Baikhel - Yeah I know what you mean, I love selkie's but with things as they are IG at the moment I only ever see them rarely.
a ferocious Penelope costume
Like the wave of a magician's wand, this stunning costume transforms the wearer into the spitting image of Penelope, the fierce weretigress of the Lupine Hunting Grounds. Half tiger, half ferocious warrior woman,
this dedicated follower of Lupus is the ultimate huntress. Lush, sleek orange fur clings and covers the wearer's body, the black stripes perfect for blending in when stalking unsuspecting prey. Tattered robes of weathered
cotton only look to only barely cover the tigress' modesty, while sharply clawed gloves add a very feline touch. Staring out from a simple mask are two vivid green eyes, their gaze as penetrating, intense and aggressive as the huntress herself.
Like the furred pelt of a tiger, a weretigress costume lies here gathering dust.
a selkie costume
The distinct scent of the salty ocean surrounds this wonderous selkie costume. The softest sealskin and lightweight rubber encases the wearer's form into the shape of a mighty seal-like selkie, with a bulbous nose and snout-like, whiskery mouth. Smooth sealskin cover's the body, glistening as if this selkie has just plashed straight out of the ocean. Rounded eyes stare out soulfully, as if full of some unknown sadness. An amulet loops around the wearer's neck, shimmering with a kaleidoscope of colour and light.
A pile resembling the pelt of a seal has been left here upon the floor.

make a costume of Covenant
I wanted to do this last year, of course I asked Judiel first I didn't wanna hurt anyone's feelings. Her responce was "Please don't." That and I dont think anyone short of Judiel herself could capture the yodelmaster himself in a costume.

The Runic Knight one is also mine.

I figured instead of making a completely new topic, I'd necro this one to see what costumes people made this year! There were a lot of letters in that square black box.
I'll post my designs after the box has been collected.

a paradise bird costume.
I realize this is old, but this really made me lol. Especially the tag. I think of it whenever I see those damn birds now.

As promised, here are my designs!
Brief: a Maklak costume
Dropped: A thin layer of frost envelops a Maklak costume crudely discarded here.
Examined: The chilling appearance of Maklak, the ice wizard is perfectly captured in this costume. Long, midnight blue robes inlaid with silver elemental runes drape regally on the body, the pale blue cuffs and hem trailing a few feet behind the wearer. Accompanying the arcane robes is a mask that perfectly captures the wizard's ancient yet commanding visage, the irises painted white around the eyeholes to mimic his piercing white gaze. An eccentric wig of human hair completes the costume, dyed a blinding white and styled to look like a crown of frozen icicles, a distinctive mark of Maklak's affinity with the power of icy, unforgiving winter.
Appearance - a porcelain doll costume
Dropped - Radiating a sense of eerie innocence, a porcelain doll costume lies here.
Examined - This costume transforms the wearer into a life-size porcelain doll, a picture of innocence at first glance with a girlish red and yellow checkered dress, slightly frayed at the edges from wear, and a smiling porcelain mask. A small tin of powder is included in this costume to be applied liberally all over the skin to resemble a body made out of porcelain. Upon closer inspection of the mask, however, the innocent appearance is tainted by a sense of morbidity that radiates from the unblinking gaze of the glossy dark eyes, their blank stare akin to a corpse's glazed look. Adding to the aura of malevolence is the wide, painted smile, which displays no real mirth and takes on an eerie undertone as the mask seems to grin mockingly.
Appearance - a jack-in-the-box costume
Dropped - Resembling an oversized jack-in-the-box, this eye-catching costume rests here.
Examined - Large, colourful panels of cloth stretch over a lightweight wooden frame in the shape of a big cube to form this unusual jack-in-the-box costume. Attached to one side of the cube is a wooden handle, which may be turned as if cranking the jack-in-the-box up. Two comfortable leather straps allow the box to be carried from the shoulders, reaching to just below the thighs with holes cut out from the sides and bottom for the arms and body to fit through. The box is roomy enough for an adult human to crouch in when it is set onto the floor, looking just like the real thing. A spring-loaded catch allows the top of the box to be flipped open when undone from the inside, allowing the wearer to frighten unsuspecting passerbys as the wearer explodes from the box. Completing the costume is a miniature lute to mimic the eerie song of the jack-in-the-box and a fake set of razor-sharp teeth, similar to those of the jester puppet in the box.
These three are arguably my favourite. The others that I did were did last minute when I noticed the box didn't poof after the end of Glacian, so they were rather rushed.

Here are all of mine:
Appearance: a mountain lion costume
Dropped: A ferocious mountain lion costume lies here, no longer intimidating.
Extended:
Designed to mimic the deadly grace of a mountain lion, this costume surrounds the wearer's entire form. Thick cashmere has been dyed a tawny brown to simulate the coarse, natural fur of the mountain lion. The head features a long, silken mane that stretches out to just mid-neck. Finely chiseled bone shards ornament the feline mouth, giving it an added menace. Long arms and legs extend down into large paws with gleaming claws. A long tail extends out behind the costume, ending in a bundle of hair that resembles the mane.
Upon wearing:
As you slide into this feline guise, an overwhelming urge to ambush your unsuspecting prey overtakes you.
=============
Appearance: a summerstorm butterfly costume
Dropped: A summerstorm butterfly costume lies earthbound, gathering dust.
Extended:
Embodying the free spirit and soul of a butterfly, this costume appeals to the eye in many ways. Large silken wings jut forth from a flexible backbone that embraces and steadies the wearer. A mosaic of colours flourishes upon wings that sparkle iridescently in the light of the summer sun. Nearly invisible, a thin wire circlet holds up a pair of bobbing antennae about the head of this costume's wearer.
==============
Appearance: a Maklak costume
Dropped: Too cold to bear, an icy Maklak costume has been discarded here.
Simulating the icy malevolence of Maklak, this costume wraps about the body with an icy chill. Robes of the darkest blue cling to the wearer in an attempt to insulate the wearer from the frigid cold. Ornate runes ornament these robes in an attempt to enhance the arcane power of the wearer. Accompanying the costume, a silver wig has been styled to resemble a frosty crown, its hair up in spikes. A delicate porcelain mask has also been included to complete this icy garb. This mask has been carefully crafted to display the cold, arrogant features of Maklak in all of his frigid glory.
Wearing:
A chilly arrogance overtakes you as you slip on a Maklak costume.
===============
Appearance: an ancient cairn stone costume
Dropped: Metal and canvas lie jumbled in what appears to be a cairn stone costume.
Made to resemble an ancient cairn stone, this costume is rather unique. Heavy canvas has been dyed a stony grey and stretched tightly over a wire frame that slides over the head and shoulders. Large stains discolour the canvas in varying places to simulate the effects of rain and snow over the ages. Mysterious symbols have been lightly etched on the front of the costume so that they are barely discernible. Dyed wool has been artfully sewn onto the lower portion of the canvas, resembling moss.

CODE
APPEARANCE: A chintzy costume of Cwincan, the Gaian Knight
DROPPED: A chintzy costume of Cwincan lies forlornly on the ground.
EXAMINED: This costume of Eleusis' resident Knight glimmers under the light, metallic dust imparting a modicum of realism to the cheap linen underneath. An assortment of rough wooden weapons hangs from a leather belt, including a stunted shortsword with a green leaf carved into the hilt, and a bow strung with an inflexible line of corroded iron. The outfit is completed with a sparse wig of long brown hair, bound by a strip of leather.
(I just know I'm going to get some odd looks for that one.

APPEARANCE: A furry costume of Boorabee, the dropbear
DROPPED: A costume of Boorabee, the dropbear, gathers dust on the floor.
EXAMINED: Designed for someone of relatively smaller stature, this one-piece costume is covered in thick, dark brown fur, though a large patch on the front is distinctly lighter in shade. Painted a glossy white, a set of small wooden claws extend from each paw. A cluster of fake ginseng roots is firmly attached to one arm, while a few balls of decorative myrrh stick to the opposite appendage. A shaggy balaclava forms the head of this outfit, cute black eyes sewn into the fabric. An artificial muzzle extends from the mask, revealing a set of wooden teeth, as well as a space for the wearer to look through.
CODE
APPEARANCE: A costume of the Guardian of Thorns
DROPPED: Glittering softly, a costume of the Guardian of Thorns rests upon the ground.
EXAMINED: Composed of a strikingly dark fabric, this full-body costume of the Guardian of Thorns extends to nearly seven feet in height. A layer of rose thorns coats the arms and upper shoulders. The legs of the costume are extended by a wooden set of hound's paws, two straps on each awaiting a living foot to loop around. An intricately-sewn pair of silken wings cling to the back of the costume, their dark-emerald hue shot through with vibrant red, contrasting beautifully against the relatively dark body-suit. A raven-haired wig accompanies the outfit, completing the foreign appearance of the ensemble.

Appearance:-
an indistinct nocturni costume
Dropped:-
Left upon a crackling, copper staff, a cowled, atramentous nocturni robe
can be faintly discerned upon the ground here.
Examined:-
Made from expensive, sturdy cotton, this atramentous-hued robe, inspired
from the nocturni, billows about the wearer's frame in a somewhat
grandiose manner. While the robe casts mystery about the one's form, the
swarthy, attached cowl drapes down across one's features, effectively
casting one's features into shadows. Complementing the nocturni costume
is a tenuous, copper staff crowned with a blue, multi-faceted crystal.
Every so often, fizzles of blue electricity leap outwards from the
staff, leaving a silver trail of fading energy about the wearer's form.
I might have edited the appearance a little bit prior before putting my letter in the box. I can't remember what I edited it to, but here you go.

an undead ecalith costume
This outfit bears the likeness of a hulking cyclops that has seen better days. Cleverly crafted fabrics create the illusion of decaying fur and exposed skin that crawl with maggots. Disturbingly lifelike humanoid flesh and feces intersperse the fake shaggy fur. A mask accessory enhances the appearance with intimidating, realistic teeth and a single bloodshot eye that dangles from an eyestalk. The right arm ends at the elbow, continues as the handle of an attached blunt axe, and even has splattered blood that glows in the dark.
