secondly, i'm not too fond of the colour scheme. it could use some work. but this is just my opinion. the shading is gone, and that was one of the sweetest portions of the sketch. also, the nipple piercing now looks like a -ed-up nipple with no ring. regardless. not bad.

Was going for a cleaner cartoonish look. The sketch is badass, but vector images are so much smoother. I wasn't sure on the colors, open to suggestions. I could try to add some crosshatch shading to it, see if it looks better and gives it some depth. And the nipple ring is just well....meh.

I prefer lean and dirty to clean and cartoonish. But that's just me. But, maybe I think crosshatch shading could do a little good. try it. you never know, right?

Respect from certian people can be very, very useless in my experiance. I'll work on my social skills and just keep improving. All one can really do s'pose.

I'm not fond of the second one. I don't know why. I really love the shading in the first one though.

Colors do not match the subject.

I didn't know what colors to use for an infernal. Black, red, grey? I can change the colors easily so if you think some new colors would look better feel free to suggest them and I'll post the outcome.

It's not the colors exactly, but the saturation. You have what's supposed to be a dark, gritty person that loves ripping hearts from his crying victims... yet the colors that would fit snugly on a clown. They're just too happy, desaturate them, choose some morbid colors.

Nylan's garnered about as much respect from the forum community as he himself has given to artists.

Your second attempt looks much better than the first IMHO. The First could easily be a Jester holding a spear and a customised dagger.. Although, I'm not sure the picture actually looks much like an Infernal at all. Weapons, armour etc.

As a seperate peice of art, it's a good interpretation on the original.

Why is an infernal carrying a spear and a dagger? The spear looks a little mundane to be a soulspear.
