Is it really that much more than a delta hub?
Though not really seeking a meet, I'm moving there in two weeks and would appreciate knowing if I'm going to regret it.

I enjoyed the weekend I spent there in 2002.

I think that I have only been to Atlanta once. I cannot say that it really made an impression on me. But, I imagine that, like in all cities, it really depends on where in the city. That said, Atlanta has a reputation for crime, though I believe it has been reduced over the years.

I don't think it's too bad a place to live.

I've been through there quite a few times and can't say that I dislike it. Always seems to be pretty busy and full of life.

I've been to Atlanta on many occasions. It's a very interesting place, and can be a bit of a party central.

ATL!
Nice place, it's a decent mix of the urban and the southern.
A culture all its own, whether you'll enjoy it depends on what kind of person you are. You can find parties, sports, all sorts of social events in Atlanta.
Not as ritzy and glamorous as NY or LA or Miami, but good city and dear to my heart.

I'm gonna change planes at the airport there on the 1st of December. Thats the only reason I'd probably ever go there...

I go to DCon almost every year. I can attest that they Hyatt staff is pretty good in dealing with drunken cosplay.
