So this is probably just fallout from the whole rewriting of older class skills like they said they were doing in that announce post a few posts back.

Farsight takes both, other sense abilities don't take either.

I'd say try the Ideas section, but I don't think your request holds merit - if you don't want to waste your EQ and mana, just do QW PERSON to see if they're logged in before you try to farsee them. This does not bypass gems or chameleon, but them's the breaks.

It takes eq and mana because it's a popular way of getting around a gem in the open pk areas. If it didn't cost then people could make huge lists of people they want to check on and run through them in 0 time.

Instead, they can do that with class abilities!

I think the change is fine, personally. Just change the fact it stacks EQ, as that's abusable.

This is the best change ever. I never squint because I'm not used to it; I always glance. And now everyone has to suffer EQ loss with me when they squint instead of glance. This is fantastic.

I'm pretty sure they reversed this. Squinting is no longer taking eq for me at least.

They changed it back... it's even noted in this thread that they did.. thus proving people don't read, they just throw their opinions out like favours in a whore house
