I just realised that I didn't really have anything like this pinned anymore, and it would probably be advantageous to do so.


Before you post here (The Golden Dais of Creation), please read over these rules:

1. Be polite.
If you are being a jackass just for your own amusement, I'll delete your thread/post and warn/ban you. This really bothers me, so if you just can't resist flaming someone, take it to another forum (Inferno would be most suited).

2. Learn to use the search tool.
If your idea is "devotion users should be able to have a blackwind like ability", go up to search and use the "more search options" link. Then, again use the "more options" link. Once there, in the box put something like +good +blackwind. This will search for posts that contain both the words good and blackwind. You could also try "blackwind for good" to search for that exact phrase, or some other interesting things like so:

If you suggest something that's already been suggested, you'll likely end up being made fun of and I'll just be closing your post, so why not avoid that?

3. Think out your ideas
If you post "OMG we should have this power where we can teleport anywhere for 10 willpower" I'll probably say "no" and close it. However, if you have some idea about a gateway system where you're able to access a nexus of portals to a variety of places and think we should see the ability to use it as an artefact, and have a good list of places it should go, and have thought about what they would look like and some of the combat implications of it, you could certainly get more discussion about it and I'll be much more willing to take a look and would probably approve something like that to be presented to Maya. Also, if you somehow didn't catch it, that's eagles/atavian wings and we already have it, so don't suggest that.

4. Combat ideas...
Don't really go here. If they're very minor things or RPish things that kind of affect combat (xorani being able to light pipes without tinderbox) then here is ok. however, if it's things about being able to fill pipes off balance or other things dealing DIRECTLY and ONLY with combat, please instead speak to either your classlead, or any other active classlead. They are all members of ACC, and if they feel the idea has merit, they will bring it up there.

5. No, you can not have artefact fishing poles.


5b. Artefacts...
Please don't suggest artefacts that give you X ability from an existing skill. For example, something that lets you create or generates bombs or traps or something that creates holocaust globes, etc.
Those are the big ones, and I can't think of anything else specifically. If you think this list is missing something, please PM me and I'll see about adding it.

I added number four just now, and I'm posting to hopefully have some people read it.

Number five. Seriously.

This is, absolutely, the final warning. Beginning the moment I post this, if your post is not contributing anything to the thread, I will warn you.

We don't have the time for nonsense like the flying horkval or non-flight atavian. I will warn both for nonsense ideas from non-newbies (anyone who's character is over age 25 or so in game).

I don't mind if you have a little fun as you post, but either add value (even if in a goofy manner) or don't post. If you want to giggle about silly ideas like a one credit artefact that gives you all skills, do it on an OOC clan in game. The point of this section of the forums is for me to sort out your ideas that will possibly make it into the game, not sort through every silly think you think of.
