I hate you. I went back home to Arkansas for christmas to visit my family and show off my son(newborn) and it was 80 degree's on christmas day. I was outside playin football and goin paintballin in shorts and a tee-shirt. WTF IS THAT! why is that possible? *weep*

80 is nothing... down here in Texas, I had 95 degress at Christmas... it was only white for all the sunscreen

This kast year was my first Christmas in FL and I admit I hated the fact it was hot (I think it was in the upper 80's for Christmas, can't recall now), it did not seem right.

I hear Fairbanks is lovely, and getting a lot of cultural buildup there (some say moreso than Anchorage).

I grew up in Alaska. I lived in: Homer, Salcha, Cordova, Fairbanks, Moosecreek. I worked at the Santa Claus House in none other than North Pole, Alaska. Is it still owned by Mike what's-his-name? He was a senator back in the day.

I have a brother and an ex-step-father-in-law who still live in the area of Fairbanks.

I don't miss it one iota and I'm probably never going to return to visit.
