I could honestly see this as a very good means of transition RP. You've done the work, and you could easily RP it as realizing a transition to another faction when you realize that the efforts of Good and Justice aren't causing a change. Perhaps Vengeance? Just throwing an idea out there.

Also, I love your artwork. Don't let it get you down that you weren't chosen as the winner! They look for distinctly achaean things in it as many others have said.

I see... it's just that...well, I did manage to get amongst the runner-ups but whom do I contact to change my description? The god of arts? Some administrator, moderator? It's visible to people, right. So I still can ,,raise awareness'' through it.

...I might not play for a while.

Plus Haldoras life is now (un)officially over. XD

I have this ,,bad habit'' of talking to myself in-game when no-one else is around...sort of like roleplaying for my own amusement. For the record, Haldora was overcome with emotion, she just spent her whole money *again* for buying mutton and stew from Gheladan and Lodi and feeding them to the kobolds, who apparently do not get less miserable nor hungry when they are being given food. She pet them, hugged them etc. etc. etc., stepped out of the building, and screamed these words towards the sky in a sudden fit of frustration. ,,Oh God, Miramar! Why do you keep neglecting these creatures!? Why do you keep ignoring me!?''
All is well except that I mixed up the ,,shout'' and ,,scream'' commands and ended up announcing this message to the whole world.

...I realized my mistake, grew pale irl and logged off quickly. The most embarassing moment of my priesthood.
(wait, I thought that newbies can't yell nor shout?)

*sigh* If this thing got the last place amongst runner-ups then my this months project is worth nothing since it doesn't even have a proper backstory.

---

EDIT: Or did I mix up ,,yell'' and ,,scream''? Anyway it was the same color as the yells of heralds(?) in cities so I panicked and qq'ed.

Highly likely you used yell, which only reaches the general area you're in. Still, you may want to find an Order member of Miramar so you can try to present your case again.

With regards to not winning Artisanals, I've found it less devastating if you lower your expectations. Heck, even just assuming that you'll win a merit will give you more 'satisfaction' when you get a runner-up prize. Most of us have experienced our 'masterpieces' falling short of our expected reward, but that never stopped us from submitting.

Silas viciously jabs an ornate steel rapier into you.
A vision of Delphinus appears and begins to give a lecture about some obscure Achaean fact that most players don't care about. You feel your eyes slide shut despite best efforts to do otherwise.

Please do not let this happen. :(

There are a number of things that go into the judging of artisanals, and sometimes what one person sees as the best isn't what another person sees. Clearly your art is impressive, and I encourage you to do more and submit for other contests. There were many, many entries that didn't receive an award at all, so placing even as a merit is an accomplishment.

Don't be discouraged; there can only be one winner every month. Maybe next month it will be you!
