This is a log of the Q&A session Tecton held today. It's from Shalishaska's point of view, and let's thank him for doing the ugly editing work.

A mule of Moghedu wanders about here, nosing at the ground. Wings flaring, a pegasus tosses his regal head impatiently. A swarm of bees hovers menacingly nearby. A nebulous water weird is here. A stone gargoyle flies overhead on leathery, grey wings. The shining figure of a guardian angel floats in the air here. Kazu Stormwind, Sentinel Raven is here. Nulaye Vastel is here. Dontarion Drakor says, "While exterminating takes a long time it is very class-specific. Holocausting also is nerfed the moment you're forest enemied. Essentially as a Mhaldorian you're not allowed to partake in evil vs. nature conflict unless you're raiding or an apostate. However, every forestal can dump a bucket on fire. I was curious if there is plans to try and expand this method of conflict to allow anyone to start fires? Granted it would be more like exterminate in that it takes forever, you gain little, and Oakstone knows about it when you start. I know being forest enemied for 'aiding' isn't quite as fun and raiding doesn't really matter where it happens."

If he came out and said, "We're deleting Houses, deleting alignment, and letting you have a FFA with no issues.", it wouldn't be as interesting/neat as if he said, "We're doing some structural changes, and tweaking some rules.". It builds suspense, and it builds interest. The projects are secret, to be released soon. This keeps people interested, and the point of this Q and A were to see what the admin were thinking about, not spoilers. If you want to be bitter, go cry elsewhere.

Agreed. Also, they did at least seem to suggest that they are doing SOMETHING and since they said their schedule would be more open come January, I'm getting the feeling that that something is coming relatively soon (by IRE time).

And you can't be mad at Tecton. He may not always be perfectly clear about what he's doing, but Tecton gets a LOT done.
