  People generally use serverside curing (HELP CURING SYSTEM)'s defence upkeep for that.

  
  

  Here's a synopsis of what you can do:
  

  We all have defences we'd like to keep up at all times.

  
  

  Here's a practical example using selfishness. Obviously, you are going

  to want to have selfishness up when someone's trying to strip it from

  you, so putting it in the defence list will help with that. You don't

  always want it up, though. Sometimes you want to be able to give things

  away, and turning curing off to do that could get you killed. Try these

  two aliases instead.

  
  

  SETALIAS GEN curing priority defence selfishness reset/generosity

  SETALIAS SELF curing priority defence selfishness 25/selfishness

  
  

  Now, the only way you won't be selfish is if you don't want to be. Don't

  forget to type SELF to re-enable it!
