With the morphing weapons, they should really add the rest of the artefact weapons now (missing weapons are club, dagger, non-priest mace, morning star, bardiche, and possibly lance). Someone changing their weapon to a level 3 club is far more reasonable and likely than someone actually buying an artefact club.

While the proximity of time since the last auction is a tad on the low side, I am supportive of all of the gold options and any gold sinks for that matter that can help alleviate gold inflation.

It's mostly going to be a temp fix, though. When bidders fail, where d'you suppose the gold will go?

The exorbitant final bids are going to put a hefty dent in things, no doubt, but it'll spring back a bit from what we're seeing mid-auction.

I'm really disappointed they decided to sell the regular monocle as an auction item, rather than an improved version that would allow someone to squint in the hidden direction.  As I've noted "I've got mine so screw you guys" but I think they could have sold a lot of regular monocles had they brought them back, and putting an improved version up for auction would mean you're actually getting something that would never be sold in game, while the monocle is simply a previously stocked item (and not one that was retired due to being OP).  Really, selling Delph's visor (suggested by him as a SoW item) as an auction item is sort of the same thing.  I'm lucky in that I have the monocle and don't care about the visor, but I don't like this approach to auctions/SoW.

A thread was opened asking for requests on what people would like to see on auction. The admin listened and delivered most of those suggestions.

There's a second auction! People have chances to pick up things they actually wanted to see available again, even if only for a limited time.

This auction is also fixing the credit market back to lower, more reasonable prices. Why are people not happy??

Yeah, I made my suggestion (monocle that allows squinting) in that thread - and suggested bringing back the monocle as a SoW item in several other threads.  Even from a purely financial point of view, if they'd sold the (slightly) improved monocle and then offered up the regular one for sale in SoW again later on, they could have made more $$$  It's fine for me, because I've been around since SoW opened, and don't plan on making any alts anytime soon (although if I did, this sort of thing would be a tad annoying), but I don't like this approach to SoW/auctions.  As for the visor, it was totally appropriate as a SoW item (not "overpowered", no particular reason for it to be "unique"), it was suggested as a SoW item, yet sold right off the bat as an auction item.  I'm definitely interested in some of the upcoming SoW items, and I'll probably be buying a couple as long as the pricing is reasonable, but again, for new players or those who do like to have alts, this is all rather  It's Sarapis' business, but as a customer, this is my "I don't like it" feedback.

I just really regret that the entrance/exit auctions were listed for gold rather than for credits. Something like that just begs for one to reach into his escrow for a nice bid. Other than that, I think it's a really good roster.
