Huge flaw in the poker coding.

Sigh, I need to read announce posts.

Nevermind, my post was a rant about side pots.

In any event, maybe something productive:

POKER VIEW STACKS really needs to show other stacks on the table, not just yours.

Noticed this while playing with a few people too. Side pots be broken, and Trance made like 8k profit. >:(

Just a small note to let everyone know that there's a small bug with
sidepots in poker, and they're not working as intended. We're working on
a fix, but we urge you to be cautious when making large bets, that
someone going all-in can take the entire pot.

well fuck me running, that's what I get for breezing through announce posts
  • Should be simpler than the three-body problem

League of Legends: IA ROCKS (NA)
    Guild Wars 2: erasariel.1532 - Devona's Rest (NA)
Final Fantasy XIV: Novi Selea - Cactuar (NA)
    Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/ErasarielOfAchaea/
    Achaea: Erasariel (duh!)
  • You should not be able to see someone else's current stack. You should be able to see what they buy in for as well as something like "they have more/less chips than you do", and perhaps be able to ask the dealer how much they have. (I suggest a toggle-able "Allow others to see stack size? Yes/No.")

Also people that have been purposefully abusing side pots should be forced to wait in line at DPS every day only to be told they're in the wrong place.
  • Why should you not be able to see how much is in someone else's stack?

If you're sitting at a table with them you can easily count how much they have.

  • You should be able to see stacks, you need to be able to bet half their stack or over their stack to force them to fold a potentially good hand.
  • Except everyone is terrible and no one folds.
