Your First Artefact.

Hammer of Forging was my first, oh so long ago. I'm still convinced it's broken though since forging with @Peak's hammer gives me higher averages... :/
(D.M.A.): Cooper says, "Kyrra is either the most innocent person in the world, or the girl who uses the most innuendo seemingly unintentionally but really on purpose."

  • The hammer doesn't affect your averages at all, just flattens the distribution.
  • I still feel like @Tecton or @Jumpy sort of owes me a level 1.5/2 hammer for making the $1500 trip to D.C. , or at least make these medallions do something awesome.
  • I believe my first two (at the advice of others) were, of course:
    -SoA
    -artie elm pipe

    ADVICE:
    - get SoA or elm pipe for your first artefact

    BETTER ADVICE:
    - always get something you want over something you need. Buyer's remorse is expensive in this game. (still can't go wrong with SoA)

I like my steak like I like my Magic cards: mythic rare.
  • Back when I was an annoying little -, running the Pepto Bismol knock-off ads on market, I made enough gold selling concoctions to buy a circlet.
  • I'm pretty sure my first purchases were also a shield of absorption and an artefact pipe for elm!

  • You can never really go wrong with a sip ring as your first artie.

Pretty sure that my first artefact was an SoA. That, along with my level 2 bow, are my favorite purchases.

Stop misguiding the newbies with this nonsense about sip rings and SoAs. You want a ring of flying and you want it first.
You forgot to mention aural earrings.

  • Worst post I've ever seen in all my days. Oh lawdy.

My first artefact was a tophat, which paid for itself like ten times over despite the fact I returned so many of the things I stole.

    RIP old theft.
  • Or you purchased a Thoth's fang with your SoA. Fun

  • Technically a stationary kit, but it was given to me. After that.. a swallow, tophat, random promotion artefacts, and then pipes. And now I'm wasting the one credit per day for commenting on IRE articles on making things non-decay and resetting. I doubt I will get any "real" artefacts until I start buying large credit bundles.

Yeah, really don't use those often enough to make it worth it. Several seconds of usage a day/week?

  • It's okay Rispok.

These noobs get so few kills they only get a few seconds of soulspear usage a week. Don't let them talk down to you.
  • My first artefact was a Flowerbox. A gift from a young Druid whom I helped along the way. Suffice it to say he later weaved his way into all of our hearts.

My second artefact was a Ring of Endurance I purchased for Serendipity, to commemorate our engagement.

After that we took turns getting artefacts.  My first for me / by me was a Hunters Belt, I believe.

Several is more than a few. But if you're wielding/throwing by reflex, then drawing your bow or swords, it isn't going to add up to much, even if you get twenty of them a day.

  • If Achaea could get transported back to pre specialisations/traits I'd get a Thoth's fang and serp it out

  • Let's pretend I have been Mhaldorian for two years and am aware of that.

(and seriously, 20? Rispok kills in the hundreds, so he had to get the SoA)

Not entirely sure if you're being sarcastic, or if Rispok actually started PK while I was away - well, okay, pretty sure, since it's you, and he's a dragon, who has one anyway. A lot can change in 4 months though...

I agree, double phase has gone to his head.

  • I can't remember to be honest - I think it was one which raised my constitution. These days I forget which ones I *do* have.
  • I think my first big (as in cost hundreds of credits) artefact was a hammer of forging; I'd bought pipes before that but they're so cheap I'm not sure they should really count.
