I don't disagree with that, I was just more reading back over this thread and seeing all the likes of agreement with the first couple of comments.

Then I started picturing the 50k escrow living artefact guy squaring off with the tri-trans no artie guy and everyone is crowded around them whispering things like, "This is going to be good."  "It's all about skill in a game like this". Then someone in the back mentions giving the 50k escrow guy a 1% crit bonus and everyone is like "Oh hell no, think about the poor people." "That's just TOO GOSH DERN MUCH, that crosses a line".

Anyone bothering to read this post, don't take my post too seriously. I sure didn't.

All of my bull shitting in this thread aside, how many people would something like this affect really?

It would benefit very few people. It would affect everybody.

I would benefit more than pretty much anybody, and, well:

I see what you're saying, and, well:

Of all the things anyone could claim to worry about causing a disparity among the haves and have-nots, something like this ranks trivial at best.

It might be trivial at best on its own, but if your reaction is "Well, this is pretty minor, so why not?" to absolutely everything, those trivial things do eventually add up into something pretty big.

Though honestly, I don't care too much about the disparity between "haves and have-nots", I just think this particular idea is terrible.

Trivial or not, it's a bonus granted from simply buying credits but does not consume them. Escrow exists for one reason: to show (or tradein) your artefacts for credits. Adding benefits would be silly, and I'm the kind of person who can get to the escrow levels and would benefit from this.
