Random question: 

How are you guys incorporating this new newbie back story into your character history?  I keep thinking about this and I can't really figure it out because I based some of my characters' pasts on the trial of rebirth thing and now it has changed. I'd love to hear what you guys did.

Supposedly we only have to incorporate it if we want to - the tasks for those of us that never went through will just never be filled in, and the smith and such don't recognize us.  So I don't think we need to.

Nothing has really changed for those of you who went through the Trial of Rebirth and the Loom Island intro before that - they are both still part of Achaea's history and perfectly acceptable to retain in your character's background.

The differences can make for interesting conversation between generations. "So how did you first become an adventurer?" "Well, I was captured by pygmies when I was barely 18 and went on to get my revenge against a horrible old cultist!" "Me, I was chosen to undergo the Trial of Rebirth and went on a grand quest that took me to legendary Ceylon." "You youngsters and your fancy adventures... I was tossed into Azdun where I was attacked by goblins when this paladin rescued me... it was all downhill from there."
